Great! Thank you so much… If I may ask a follow-up question, once I add, activate, and connect Jetpack, where is the option for a subscription system (and corresponding widget). I’ve explored Jetpack trying to find it and can’t seem to locate it. I’m sorry if these are really basic questions, this is a brand new project for me, and I’m just a little lost with all of the programs and options.

No. It’s still on the default theme because it gives me an error message each time I try to change it. But in addition, when I view the current theme, it says “false” in most of the description areas and displays this error at the top: “ERROR: The theme directory “twentyfifteen” does not exist.”

And I don’t have any plugins yet I don’t think… I literally JUST started this page yesterday.
