WordPress it self won’t come with any update to sort this out until we can actually find out if it is a WordPress problem

Which will be a problem for many.

In the meantime, I recommend everyone edit their php files by hand through ftp from here on out. That is how I fixed it.

it seems to be effecting CaptainForm’s site as well. I can not submit a support request on their site (they are using Captain Form). Shows “Please Wait…”

Confirmed. My site is now down after update. Had to remove the plugin from all my client’s sites.

Solved the issue. This was a known issue as previously stated what tech support fails to mention is you must go into your wordpress dashboard and “flush cache”. It seems some mobiles are still holding on to the broken cache that was floating around when the known issue occurred. Flushing cache got my mobile version working again immediately.

my desktop version is now working but mobile is down with the same error. Cleared all cache and checked on 2 different mobile phone.
