In reply to: Peer reviewOk yeah I had tried that, but without the rounded edges it just did not fit with the rest of the style. I could make the backgr white, but I would still have to scroll down, The screenshot has no scrollbars, whilst if I do make the background white I would still have the scrollbars.
This way the white fields I feel the white div’s call the attention of the visitors. Some people prefer the white back and think of it as having a more professional look. I do not agree, for me it depends on the overall picture. Not that I mean my website has a professional look, that’s why I’m asking your opinions ??
The blur radius I will be fixing emedialty, I see what you meen.. It almost make’s one blurred whole.
Thanks for your input guys, I appreciate it
Greets,
Robert… Thanks!!

In reply to: Peer reviewBecause the content will vary, but the div wil stay the same. The client did not want big empty spaces or that the visitors have to scroll a long way down. So now the site is one size and depending on the page the content is scrollable. Have discussed this a couple of times with the client, and eventually we chose this method…
Are there any alternate ways to achieve the same goal? Thanks,
Robert

In reply to: How to – Edit content on existing pagesOk, thanks esmi, you just saved me a bunch of time, I should have looked in to that before I started programming. I’m gonna have to start building it in WordPress or think of some other way the content can be managed without having to scroll threw the html pages.

In reply to: How to – Edit content on existing pagesAah ok, did not anticipate.. So I’m gonna have to start over buidling the website mainly copy paste, using wordpress so I can use WP to edit the text… I thought you could like sync them or something. I built a website using Dreamweaver and am almost done, I’m just finishing some forms, but I thought I would be able to connect the two and edit the static pages. I find it a little odd that editing external built pages is not possible. Why? IS there a CMS that CAN do that?

In reply to: How to – Edit content on existing pagesWell the What You See Is What You Get is not the main problem, it’s working fine.. Let’s say you have a website, with a static page home.. On that page you have text:blablabla. You install WP on your server. How do you get this page in your WP pages so you can edit the blablabla. Isn’t there a tutorial for that or some kind of guide?

In reply to: How to – Edit content on existing pagesYeah I got them, mine sais Wysiwyg & HTML. When I click these I get the example page content, but if within pages I press view site It will go to my site. How can I fix this? How do I get a page I want to edit within pages? I’ve tried making them templates with the template name tag, but the dropbox wil not return them, I’ve tried the usetheme: false tag and the require blog-header.php, but now I’m stuck, I know not what to do :S

In reply to: How to – Edit content on existing pagesHey timtam, can’t seem to find the visual tab, should it be inside the pages tab, or is it visible when I choose a page. In either case I can’t find the visual tab. I’ve got nothing in my pages, only the example page.
