In reply to: [WP Fastest Cache] Doodle?I’ve seen it for a while and was convinced it was related to WP Fastest Cache. But now I’m seeing it when I enter admin for the first time, which could mean it may not be related to WP Fastest Cache at all.
I wanted to delete this post while I investigate further, but I can’t delete.
My apologies. I’m being completely blind here.

In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] Extreme slowdownHi David,
Thanks for getting back to me.
“Where-used reporting” was the culprit. I had “Featured in” and “Inserted in” enabled. Disabling both made everything perform normal again.
Just for the record: I only had slow-downs while accessing media. Not in the MLA settings pages.
The media page was and still is showing 100 entries, and it’s performing fine now. Before disabling the above mentioned, I tried lowering shown entries to 20 and 1, and only had normal performance with 1. With 20 entries, there was some 30 seconds of waiting.
Thanks for the help!
Hi Gasper,
That sounds wonderful! Looking forward to the new updates.

In reply to: [Fontsampler] Not workingMy apologies for not getting back to you sooner.
I was able to upload font after the update, but I now have different issues: The styling is completely off and none of the labels and features show up when I enable any. Looks like W3 Total Cache might be affecting Fontsampler and it could also be, that my themes styling is conflicting.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Forms submit errors (JavaScript and Cookies)I installed CF7 and attempted to solve the issue by sending through my providers SMTP server after, having read about it. Seemed to work, but it didn’t.
Now I have disabled spam protection for CF7 in WP SpamShield and hopefully that’s the end of it.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Forms submit errors (JavaScript and Cookies)I had the exact same issue, but with WP Forms. I do not know what the solution to the problem is or why what caused it in the first place and ended up reverting back the themes very basic contact form.

In reply to: [Fontsampler] Can’t upload fontsThe files are missing. I see “Fonts & Files” and when I edit a font set, I see nothing under “Current file”, after having picked a font and pressed on update.
I’ve tried several fonts and formats.
Ps. I just updated Fontsampler today.

In reply to: Media window shows websiteJust got another response from my provider – they white listed some other mod_sec related thingy and now the site works.
I’m still puzzled though: When I first installed WordPress, I never ran into these problems – they only occurred after I moved the site to root. I didn’t work much on it either. After all, I moved it because I felt it was ready to my made official.
and regarding mod_security, I’m being told its a very bad practice to slack on the securty as WordPress is doing – I don’t have any clue on web development, so I have no clue what this is about. But – I do want my site to be secure. Are they overreacting or is this a compromise you had to make? What are the risks?
