its amazing if ANYTHING EVER gets solved on this forum. Its one of the worst supported forums I have ever seen in my entire life. Questions get unanswered for EONS. Its ridiculous with how popular wordpress is that the support SUCKS so much.

yeah good luck people suck at answering stuff on this forum, I am looking for the same exact thing you are. You have to really utilize a custom field and or use a plugin called custom write panel or hack up wordpress to do what you want.

I added an echo as suggested and it worked, odd though since none of the other scripts outputting javascript had an echo, oh well. Thanks

I might have to disagree as I said I grabbed a hell of alot of scripts that did this very same thing as well as read up on it and add_action is like echo. It DOES print it to the head, it just doesn’t initiate the javascript library…

uh nevermind I see now that WP_head isn’t the culprit its another plugin of mine that is interacting negtively with the above, damn it.

Kinda figured this out, you have to edit widgets.php and search for categories and edit the function there
