I contacted my hosting provider and what they told me that one of my plugins wrote into my .htaccess file. I commented the line bellow and all images came back :

RewriteRule wp-content/uploads(/[a-zA-Z_\-\s0-9\.]+)+\.([a-zA-Z0-9]+)$ index.php?pre_dir_acc_61co625547=$1&is_direct_access=true&file_type=$2 [QSA,L]

Do you know which plugin could write this?

I can’t access directly to the image, I have a HttpStatus 404 (https://www.crocusss.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/logo-crocus.gif), but the image is here when I use FileZilla to browse it.

Yes, I can access to the repertory /wp-content/uploads/xxx with FileZilla and I can see that all image files are there. It’s really weird. I don’t know why the server doesn’t recongnize the URL.

I don’t even see the images in the section Media when connected as admin.

I deleted Jetpack and the images still don’t appear. I don’t think I have any caching plugins.
In the section backups, I have this warning :

HTTP Loopback Connections are not enabled on this server. Add define(‘ALTERNATE_WP_CRON’, true); to your wp-config.php. Hi supernovia, I tried both by activating and deactivating Jetpack or enable/disable site accelerator but I still don’t have my images. My site works well just before the update.
I tried also to deactivate all plugins but nothing happens. I don’t know if it’s because of Jetpack or WordPress new version that causes the problem, but the fact is no images are displaying on my website from the day I updated plugins and WordPress.
