I have a different but similar problem, can you please enlighten how this problem has been resolved?

Mine is a fail 99 ‘Insufficient permissions. Method requires read privileges; none granted problem, at drop down menu in new post.

Just to update on how I resolved my problem (before egardner responded with her solution).

I uninstalled Jetpack 2.0.4 and rolled back to earlier version of Jetpack 2.0.3; after which, it will prompt you to upgrade to latest 2.0.4. I did that and everything works fine after.

Some other users feedback (sorry, I forgot where I saw, but it’s one of the forum posts) similar issues and one proposed this, and it works for me.

I am having this problem too, how did you resolve this?

The site is live. My apologies if this sounds dense, I don’t know how to send a copy of DB and WP to you, they are quite huge.

Updated the plugin to 1.7.10, the importer now loads, but fails to import:
Total [flickr(set)]s: 173
[flickr(set)]s Imported: 0
Import Failures: 173

I have tried thrice, but returned with the same result.
