It seems that Fu#$in’ FB decided to change the sharer.php behavior without letting anyone no.

DiggDigg’s Share button call to the following URL no longer works:
https://www.facebook.com/sharer/sharer.php?app_id=309437425817038&sdk=joey&u=%5BURL%5D%2F&display=popup

In order for this to work, you should remove the “app_id=309437425817038&sdk=joey&” part.
So URL should look like this: https://www.facebook.com/sharer/sharer.php?u=%5BURL%5D%2F&display=popup

Not sure why FB decided to change this, but until DiggDigg’s developers wouldn’t fix it we’re in deep sh#t.

However, I’ll appreciate few more clarifications –
Since I’ve never used the plugin, only installed on the MU and decided to uninstall, there are no taxonomies or options other than anything that was created by default.
So could you tell me if there’s anything I should delete (or remove from the DB) beside the plugin’s folder?

Experiencing the same problem – any solution? it seems this problem hasn’t been fixed yet (and more than 2 months passed since it was first reported). What gives?
Any alternative plugin that can do the job that actually works?

Tnx for the update RebelStar, however I suspect the problem still exist especially when I schedule deferred publishing – have you tried to schedule any of these post by any chance?

Never the less, I will try to relink my FB account (although I’m pretty sure I’ve tried that after the last update) and update again.

Anyone else still experiencing any problem this?
