In reply to: [Plugin Organizer] 5.6.4 PO Selective Loading DisablesI just posted on another thread in this help forum about the same thing. Looks like it’s a 5.6.4 bug. I’ll also revert to the last version until this is sorted out. Glad to see it’s not just me! Love this plugin.

In reply to: [Plugin Organizer] Option "Selective Plugin Loading" will not be savedI’m having the same problem. Just started occurring today. I followed the instructions in the FAQ section about manually copying the PluginOrganizerMU.class.php file to the mu-plugins folder, disabling / enabling the plugin. Must have done this 4 or 5 times. No dice. I even unistalled / reinstalled, followed by the direction in the FAQ again – still no dice. Has anything changed?

In reply to: [WP Crontrol] Setting up CRON job via URLDoes this method still stand? Was working fine a few months ago when I was doing it. Now, I hit the “run now” option to test it out on a new site and nothing. It does report that the script was executed successfully. Any thoughts?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] [Plugin: Woocommerce]I, too, am looking for the functionality in woocommerce like the EDD commissions plugin. In EDD, a CSV file is generated for upload to paypal to payout the commission splits. Issue is, I’m looking to use Intuit as my payment gateway.
How does the Vendors plugin for woocommerce handle splitting the payouts? Does it work with any payment gateway? I’m looking to use Intuit. Thanks!

In reply to: Media Library empty when using insert into postOk, I found the culprit. I created a php.ini in my wp-admin folder to increase the size of uploads. Well, that was a mistake.

In reply to: [Post UI Tabs] Word from the authorMark,
You are the hardest man to track down on the planet! I can’t find an e-mail for you anywhere (including your site), so I’m hoping you’ll see this comment here and post back. I have a question about some code I found of yours – a plugin called “plugin hider.” Please, hit me back. I think it’s genius and want to ask you something about it.

Thanks in advance!

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Split large backups?Hey, thanks for the lightning-quick response ?? Yea, I’m actually looking through the FAQ’s on your site now. Seems all good.
One last question: In my uploads folder I have ZIP files which are downloads that I offer on my website. Most of them are in the 200-300MB range. Will that be a problem since this plugin uses ZIP as it’s archiving method? ZIP’s in ZIP’s? I was using XCloner which worked well, but doesn’t offer the split function as a CRON option. But what it DID offer, which I’m hoping can be done with UpDraftPlus, is how many files to process at once. I had to set that function to a measly 5 files at once in order for the backups to complete since my files are so large. Any foreseen complications I might have?

In reply to: [Backup Scheduler] CRON, large backups, and server spaceThanks for the reply. 15MB would certainly be too small. Is that size set somewhere in the code? Maybe I could alter that to allow for much larger single-file sizes?
I’ve since moved on to XCloner for my WordPress backup needs. It was a little more technical to set up, but nothing back breaking. And best of all? IT WORKS. The developer is responsive. No more incomplete TAR files, constant timeouts, or server errors. Just completed backups – what we’re all here looking for. My $0.02.
As a follow up, I’ve hence moved on to XCloner for my backups. It requires a little more tech-savvyness on the part of the user, but it works like a charm. No more timeouts, incomplete TAR files, etc. My $0.02.
Hey vhblogsupport,
Did you have any issues with downloading your backup file from your server via FTP? I just downloaded a backup & noticed wp-includes wasn’t there either. Found this post and realized the file I downloaded is not the same size as the file sitting on my server. Is there any inherent problems with downloading large files via FTP?
