the response from the Elmentor team:

I want to let you know that we are already aware of this bug caused due to recent 3.1.1 update and it’s been already reported to our developers.
I don’t have any ETA on when it will be addressed or a fix released, but as this issue is a high priority for us I believe it should be fixed in one of the upcoming plugin’s updates.
If this feature is critical for you, you can currently downgrade the Elementor plugin to the previous 3.1.0 version where it should work as expected.

I need a bit more context to try and help you – it seems you are using elementor, did you contact their support? Their team built the pods integration.

What steps are you using to display the image? Is it an Image field or just a URL?

there should be a a new table for each post type but that’s only for fields added by pods (except relationship information) – every other field from WordPress core still lives in posts / postmeta

just realised I never used PODS to display comments but they should behave similar to taxonomies/relationships did you try using [each comments] and then define the output you want?
