Then you either need to deactivate stuff for everything else or set the search to only the CPT e.g

• … or use your favourite search engine

Can you provide a bit more context? Like type of field/condition used?

can you test if downgrading pods / bt removes the issue? maybe that’s the quickest way to find the culprit in your cases ??

I’ll investigate on my end, but most likely it shouldn’t come from pods as that’s a Beaver Themer function that’s just checking custom fields…

Sadly ACT lives way outside of the “standards” it dates back to the times when CPT didn’t exist in WordPress – only use them if you are really need them and are prepared for a lot of headaches :/

I never used the 3rd party tool Panda – as I just used relationships if I needed “a group of fields” ??

https://pods-pro.skc.dev/add-ons/ has some additional tools that might help, and pods now has a simple repeater field and the more complex version for groups is in development.

back when we built it that way there was no easy way around basing it on the “Preview” – Reason beeing: BB loads most of the data early and the dynamic calls where mostly for rendering but not for new settings…

I’ll take a look again because that’s a thing that has been bothering me for a while!

First thx for the video, several things happenin and some of them have always been that way.

– The list of the fields has always depended on the BB preview settings and not on the setting in the “post module” hence as you are on a “page” you get the list for a page :/ that one of the shortcoming I didn’t find a good way around need to take a look again

– More fields are exposed as a side effect of pods 2.8 still not sure if I’d wan’t to keep some of them…

– You can workaround that using BB Shortdcodes like you did or use the “pods” version -> Template, Magic Tag

Magic Tags: (the way I use it) are the most powerful way and most “visible” as the syntax is shorter! see https://docs.pods.io/displaying-pods/magic-tags/using-magic-tags/

I had an similar issue that went away after clearing pods cache – did you give that a try?

Well I’m not that active currently but I’m still using it on all my sites and didn’t see any issues popping up :/ so there was no need to update anything!
