In reply to: Sites BROKEN after WordPress 4.0.1 UpgradeIt’s most likely a corrupt .htacess file. Go to your hosting account’s file manager, locate your .htacess file, and rename it to .htacessOLD. Then create a new file and name it .htacess. See if that works.

After six reinstalls, my hosting development team found that the .htaccess file was corrupt. The original was renamed as htaccess.OLD and a new one created. This fixed the issue.

This is what I have tried and I still have the white screen of death:
WP White Screen of Death Troubleshooting Steps
? Reset theme to default them, Twenty-Twelve. Did not work.
? Disabled plug-ins by renaming the plug-in folder. Did not work.
? Re-installed WP 4.0.1. Did not work.
? Reverted to earlier version 3.9. Did not work.
? Uploaded previous backup files. Did not work.
? Uploaded WP 4.0.1 zip file. Extracted into queenofthepenbooks folder. Did not work.
? Unzipped WP 4.0.1. file and uploaded the wp-admin and wp-includes folders. Did not work.
? Increased memory to 64M in wp-config file. Did not work.
? Uninstalled, reinstalled, and uploaded backup database. Did not work.I have two additional WP sites and they work just fine. So, I’m really stumped and need help ASAP. My hosting company can’t seem to figure it out either and want to charge me to restore a copy from a earlier time. However, their copy would be the same version I used as a backup.

In reply to: [HubSpot for WordPress] Google Maps API server rejected your requestI didn’t have this issue until I installed Eventbrite plugin. I’ve uninstalled the plugin; however, I continue to receive this error message. I have checked the theme’s function.php file and searched for the code you provided; however, there isn’t such code listed. How do I clear this error message when I don’t have an active plugin? Is there another .php file I should search?

In reply to: Images Are Not In Media Library@bh_wp_guy: Yes, I know, it does sound strange; but that is what happens. I’ve downloaded the plug-in you’ve provided; and I’ll try it. Thanks!

In reply to: Images Are Not In Media LibraryI have also tried adding images via WordPress attached to my Bluehost WordPress template; but it just isn’t allowing me to upload or drag/drop into the page. Now, if I want to add images directly into my original WordPress account, it works. That is so weird! I’ll just create my blogs on my original WordPress account and import them to my hosted site. This is just crazy!
