I switched the theme and the restriction does work when I do. So it is the Bricks theme that is causing the issue. With your suggestion I now have 4 options as meanwhile Bricks has replied as following:
“The plugin works as expected, as it restricts the post_content (from Gutenberg). The Bricks content needs to be rendered separately and in a different way, and the plugin can’t know about that.
You have three possibilities to restrict the content or parts of the content (e.g. the calendar shortcode).
1) Wrap it with the [members_access] Shortcode: https://members-plugin.com/docs/shortcodes/2) Add the content you want to restrict to Gutenberg and inside of the Bricks content, use the post content element to output the Gutenberg content (which will be restricted then).
3) Use the Bricks conditions instead of the plugin to restrict to specific user groups.”I hope this also helps others who are struggling with this.
Thank you for you help!

In reply to: [ICS Calendar] Hover popup doesn’t work on all eventsThank you for your fast response. Meanwhile, I had thought of this myself, but hadn’t tried it yet. Will do so tomorrow.
I think I found the problem. Sorry for the inconvenience. I tried it in the developer edition of the pagebuilder Bricks (1.3.7). There it is a problem in combination with WP 5.9. In Bricks 1.3.6 and WP 5.8.3 and php 8 it works very well.
Might the problem be WP5.9? As I get an error message when I don’t use the shortcode widget in Bricks, but use the classic WP editor. The error says: failed to load plugin url: https://testbricks.pambiusdemo.nl/wp-content/plugins/wp-base-booking-of-appointments-services-and-events/includes/admin/tinymce/langs/nl.js
If I click the next arrow no new month appears (so now February or March, only January is shown)
