Or another approach might be to have an Ad Inserter panel on the post editing screen where you can toggle ad inserter on a post-by-post basis. Similar to the Discussion panel, for instance.

I just installed this on a Genesis framework setup and can confirm that it does work normally without any extra steps when installing. I’ve tested on the Parallax Pro child theme–not sure if it behaves differently in other child themes.

Have just noticed a second odd behavior. It’s not just pulling the most recent posts but the most recently updated anything, whether that’s a post, page, media, etc. But still only affecting the widget displaying next to category archives.

Similar problem, but I can’t get the settings to show up anywhere whether it’s network activated or activated on a per-blog basis.

If you’re using the float version, try putting this in your theme’s css style sheet:

#dd_ajax_float {
	-webkit-border-radius: 1px !important;
	-moz-border-radius: 1px !important;
	border-radius: 1px !important;
}

To change the background color, add this line also in there and change the color to whatever you want:

background: #fff !important;

If you’re using the normal version, you’ll need to change the div name.
