I deactivated your plugin after upgrading to 3.2.2 which almost crashed my server, due to your bloating of the plugin with unnecessary freemius no one requested for.

If you will be adding the freemius again to WP to Twitter, the plugin will have to be removed from the WP Repository. I will no longer donate to support this plugin or other plugins of yours.

I have one small problem with facebook commenting on mobile device. I think it’s only an Android bug because the problem could not be replicated on iOS devices.

When you type “testing” for example in facebook comment on Android device, it repeats it 3x: “testingtestingtesting”, and sometimes with other gibberish. This happens when commenting on both blog post and forum posts.

Commenting on a blog post also post to facebook when the option for that is checked; but that is not the same when commenting on forum topics. In other words, posting to fb does not work on forum topics.

Any idea how to fix this bug?

For some reason, the shortcode for the Facebook comment only shows the [TheChamp-FB-Comments] in text and not the FB comment form. After multiple attempts with no luck, I have contacted the author of my theme regarding this and still awaiting a response — maybe he knows why its not working for his theme ?

The shortcode works fine on the default Twenty Fifteen theme.

For those who may also be looking to achieve this; the shortcode was placed in bbpress/content-single-topic.php, right after the following code:

I had similar issue, with videos showing black and not playing. This actually means another problematic (outdated) plugin is the culprit, and not Contus. I found and disabled the problematic plugin, and this solved the what appears to be a video bug.

Note: If you are using any rss importer plugin, that may be the culprit, as it was in my case. Otherwise, disable every activated plugin except Contus, and see if the problem still exist.

Hey guys, I decided to do similar tweaking to the settings after reading Zennie’s comment above. I’d wait and see if I get new posts, then give you guys feedback.

On another note, would you guys know how to address the issue below without deleting the plugin? After re-activating the plugin, I get this message:

The plugin generated 60 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.

Meanwhile, each time I save plugin settings, I still get this error message:

It seems the mod you supplied also broke my wordpress site, and was unable to login again. I had to delete import_posts.php file to regain access.

Is this why your website was shut down for maintenance?

Unfortunately, it seems Allen gave up on this plugin long time ago.

@pete could you please provide a detailed solution to the autopost bug you fixed?

I’m experiencing similar situation, in my case…Autopost is no longer posting new items since November 30th, but every other thing else is working, including the fetching of feed.

As of today I have deactivated the buggy plugin since it keeps importing feeds to my database but not autoposting.

Since everyone is experiencing similar issues with autopost, it is buggy and does not work as designed.
