    Hi @dskeled

Thank you very much for your review.

We are really sorry to hear that you don’t understand how the plugin determines which posts will appear in it. Let us explain it to you. By default, when you create a post-show, the plugin query is set to take all the latest posts to display in the show according to the post limit and order (ascending or descending) you set. See the basic setup screenshot.

Suppose you want to display posts from a particular post taxonomy (category, tag, post formats) then you can configure it from Filter Content Tab > Filter By option. Please see the screenshot.

On the above screenshots, you can see that there are few filter posts options to display the posts. For example, you can display posts from specific or multiple categories, tags. You can also sort the post by Date, Id, Title, and Modified date. Moreover, you can also display Draft, schedule, private, inherit, pending posts using the Status filter by option.

The other style customization options are available on the Display Options, Carousel Controls, and Details Page Settings Tab as well. See the screenshot.

Hi, thank you for your answer.

My plugin has gone wild then. I can not determine why it is picking some posts.

I would like a very simple thing – to show 5 latest posts from the same category as the article which visitor is viewing (primary category)

It is a simple task and making it difficult to cofnigure can be frustrating..

    Hi @dskeled,

Apologies for the late reply. We are really sorry to say that the way you want to show the posts for the visitors (technically termed as Related Posts) is not available in the current version of the plugin. But this could be a great feature. We are thankful to you for sharing your requirements.

We have noted the feature in our development roadmap if it is possible, we will try to add this feature in the future. Your understanding would be much appreciated.

Giving 3 stars to a plugin for the feature which is not available is really unfortunate. We believe, as the plugin didn’t harm your website, we hope that you’ll consider revising your reviews.

    Thank you very much!
    Khalil
