Not all shortcodes are working for you? We have added some widgets now as indicated below:
1) MIM Current Issue Widget: Displays current issue title and image if current issue is selected in MIM issue settings.
2) MIM Current Issue Category Widget: Displays list of issue categories for current issue.
3) MIM Issue Article Listing Widget: Displays list of articles for current issue.
4) MIM Issue Listing Widget: Displays list of all Issues.

It would be helpful if you can share difficulty faced with us. We will try to make it more simple and easy to use.
