Hi again. I’ve re-added it. I actually had deleted the plugin because searching with it doesn’t work for some reason. So I hope you can help me with that too. Each search I do returns a 504 error timeout. This also happens to my old search (you can see in the right sidebar of the website), but the old search worked before I used this plugin.

I should let you know, the posts did finally arrive. It took a few hours to show up though. Very odd.

Ok, Friday’s post worked.
I just did another now and it did not work. I should point out that the one I did just now was in draft status since yesterday (Friday), and now it is Saturday. I don’t know if that has anything to do with it, but I have had issues with that were left in draft status for a day or few, and then posting.

Edit: Today’s post didn’t work for Facebook or Twitter. Yet, I got the notification in WordPress to say it was sent. :S

Thanks James. Just deactivated, then deleted. Had a hiccup installing 7.2… It failed, tried again, and it was fine. Then activated it. I’ll attempt a Publicize Post on Friday and report back. ??

Out of curiosity… if I need the standard slide to be transparent, is there a way of separating the slider into two sliders? The first being the standard, and the second being the dynamic slides? Would I be able to have them play one after the other, and loop?

One more question… I have a slider that has the first slide set to standard / static, and the following slides are dynamic. Can I set JUST the dynamic slides to a use a shared fixed background image (excluding the first static slide)?

Or will I need to create multiple sliders (one standard / static) and other dynamic? And can they follow on and play one after the other?

Oh, just 1 image per post? I may not have explained this properly, but I was hoping to have each dynamic slide randomly pick an image from that group of 3 or 4 images. So the next dynamic slide would randomly pick a different image, and so on. I plan to have 3 or 4 slides, hence 3 or 4 images.

That’s ok, at least I have something to go off. Quick question before I get too into this… My future posts won’t show the image/s I want to use in the slides, will they? I want to avoid that. If I can just give the post an image ID or something, and that is passed on to the slide, then that’s exactly what I’m after.

I’m dabbling with ACF now but I feel like I’m in the deep end. Are you able to guide me a bit in setting up the ACF part? If it’s out of your SS3 scope that’s cool, I will seek help on the ACF support page.

I’m creating the field, and in field type, I can choose Image or Smart Slider 3. I am trying Image. I have no idea where to go or how to designate these 3 or 4 images I want to use.
