Sorry but it doesn’t mean anything to me. ??
If your manual upgrade is working otherwise (i.e. other plugins and rest of site is working), then it should be working. We have WP4.0 test sites that are working fine.
I think we will have to have a WP expert take a look at it. If you have a ShrinkTheWeb account, the easiest way for us to trade FTP and access information securely is for you to open a support ticket. We can go from there and then post any solution found back here for the benefit of others.
If you do not have a ShrinkTheWeb account, then please email us directly via: help [@] shrinktheweb.com. That will open a ticket directly into the system.
Hello,
We are unable to reproduce your error. Our WP4.0 installs are working fine with the v1.38 plugin release.
Are there any errors in the WP-Portfolio -> Error Logs?
My initial suggestion is to install BlackBox Debug Bar and see if that yields any errors or information that might pinpoint the cause of the problem (assuming it will work on the published page).
Hello,
To disable the link, you go to WP-Portfolio -> Portfolio Settings -> Link Credit (uncheck).
We prefer you keep the link, even if you use custom images –as the plugin itself requires quite a bit of development and maintenance, but we leave the choice up to users.
Thank you,
Brandon

Hello. This is Brandon with ShrinkTheWeb. I’m not sure why you got that error. I just tried the same URL (copy/pasted your example) into our test site and it worked as expected. Perhaps there is something else wrong with your request? If you continue to have issue, let us know by opening a support ticket and we can take a look.The fix was posted above. Here it is again:
The tables may not have upgraded properly. To fix that, go to “Portfolio Settings” -> click on “Force Table Upgrade” and then retry the delete.

In reply to: [Wordpress Portfolio Plugin (WP Portfolio)] Portfolio page as home pageI am not familiar with “how” to create a static page in WP, especially in the hosted version (never seen it). So I would refer you to WP for that answer. However, once you have figured it out, then it is a simple matter of embedding the WP-Portfolio shortcode into your front page. Please refer to the WP-Portfolio documentation for further usage instructions.
@everyone
It turns out the v1.38 code fix does work. However, in some cases, the tables may not have upgraded properly. To fix that, go to “Portfolio Settings” -> click on “Force Table Upgrade” and then retry the delete. In our test case, this fixed the deletion issue on v1.38.@betsocial
You have a second issue of items not showing up, which may be related. If that is still not fixed, then please open a new ticket for that separate issue.duplicate post…

Making progress. It appears that this “bug” was introduced back in version v1.35. The good news is that we were able to reproduce the issue and should have a fix in the next few days. Will update as we can.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Wordpress Portfolio Plugin (WP Portfolio)] 404 errorOk, thanks!
@betsocial
Didn’t see your post. Will investigate.@eword1
Thank you for your positive feedback! ??Sounds like a missing table in the database. Go to “Portfolio Settings” -> “Force Table Upgrade” and see if that fixes the issue.
In the meantime, here’s how to refresh a screenshot manually via ShrinkTheWeb’s portal: https://support.shrinktheweb.com/Knowledgebase/Article/View/11/0/how-do-i-refresh-a-screenshot
Hello.
You just go to “WP Portfolio” -> “Website Groups” and then “Edit” the group you want to modify. You can update the text for both strings in that area.
