same here. i’ve been trying to adjust settings in Better WP Security for the last hour trying to figure out what setting(s) are blocking registrations for my site. i also have to login twice just to get in as admin.

I want the ad in a custom position (in the header area), but what happens when I do that is the ad remains on the screen even when scrolling; it doesn’t scroll off the page. Here is my web site so you can see what I’m talking about https://rpgamer.me

I do not know if this is a normal function of the plugin because it’s not technically part of the page but hovering over it (when scrolling it goes behind my slideshow) or is there a way to make it so it just scrolls off the page when the user scrolls?

ahh ok. thanks for explaining that to me. slight bit of a bummer tho but i guess there’s nothing wrong with it making me look cooler than i actually am lol.

ya same. simplepress broke after their update when it worked fine before i did the update. not paying just to resolve that either. i went back to phpbb too.

yea i think they should have a free site as well. i downloaded simplepress months ago, after usng phpbb for years, and simplepress ran fine without me even needing anything; i jus kept everything at default. i just ran the default but then i logged into my site today and simplepress had disabled all my forums because it said it needed an upgrade. so i clicked upgrade and now the simplepress forums has somehow become detached from my web site and no longer integrated. and of course i’m not going to pay a monthly fee for a simplepress on a web site that only gets views from like 10 people a month. the money just does not justify the means to pay so much for it.

wondering the same. i created a category called “status updates” which i want to show only on my widget and not on the home page as a post. problem is, when i enable to hide the post from the home screen, it also hides it from my “status updates” category.

i was able to resolve this by going back to version 0.8.3

same problem here. i have disabled all addons and still get the error. if i disable WPGPlus and try to post without it, i dont get the error

yup. it has begun. my web site as of february 25th 2012 has been mega spammed to the point where my hosting provider suspended my web site because the database got too large from all the spam in a course of one day. and even though i deleted them all and checked my si captcha settings, when i woke up this morning i had 6 more spam comments in my spam inbox.

i am having the same problem; i am getting spam anyway depsite having si captcha installed. its annoying to keep having to go in and delete the spam and even more annoying to see that this plugin is no longer working or rather its working but bots or whatever have found away around it to spam my site with random comments. of course the comments never get posted because i moderate but i have to go in and delete the spam daily. my free hosting provider alerted me of it by suspending my web site until i took care of it. i was amazed to find over 300+ spam comments post all submitted in a day’s time that i had to go in and delete. i had si captcha enabled on login, comments and posts and i thought i had it all handled. but then it happened again and i had to move my website to a paid host because of the spam; my free hosting provider says because of all the spamming, the database got too large for its servers. is there any fix to this or do i need to just find another plugin that works?

Yes. it is the .featured panel that stopped working. I will contact the developer of the theme. I notice that this usually happens when theres any plugin I download to WP that involves graphics. Thanks for the quick reply.
