ive tried your way (im also using dreamhost) and i still getting the domain as parked domain, can i contact with you or something or you can make a more detailed steps about how you configure it from the begining?

because there is something wierd with your guide:

if you choose mirror it will be mirror if parked parked you can choose both…

its very simple to explain, when i do the auto-order of albums, its arrange them well as a,b,c but if there is an album inside that album so the album will be before the galleries no matter what letter he is so if i have a album called “all albums” and inside it i have “gallery 1” “
“gallery 2”
“gallery 3”

and
“Z” (an album not gallery!!)
then “Z” will be before all the other galleries based on being an album and not based on his name

anyone?

yes but again, i have 1500 galleries i can make each one and one in drag and drop order so i use the sort option of nextgen, and when i use her, the albums come before galleries no matter what is the sort order config

its simple

i have an album called “main album”

inside ” main album” there is

sub-album- aroma, sub album 2-cortex, sub album 3-zenon

and gallery 1- borgos, gallery 2 – bundy, gallery3-moscow

now the album is sorted by abc which works fine but the problem that nextgen seperate the albums from the galleries so now the order is like this:
aroma,cortex,zenon and then bundy, borgos, moscow

i want it to be – aroma, bundy, borgos, cortex,moscow, zenon

anyone? didnt got into this situation?

that i did by edit button that will get into the edit and its works fine, the problem when i want to add more images to an existing album i need to go throw many galleries that some have the same name and i dont know what is what because its 1500 galleries and keep growing each day

so the only way its to call the nextgen add images to already be choosen on specific gallery that will be linked by gid from button in other page, this is the only reasonable solution ive found that could be done, i still dont get why there is no levels inside such in advanced gallery plugin with year of experience, and there is no option to upload images from edit gallery page but yet he let you see the images and delete from their..

i frustrated from this ive tried everything to make it comfortable but cand find a way to this

thanks for the help again, but i think for an old plugin and such a respected as well, you have 2 big lacks, first you dont have search! – tell me it not one of the basic things of plugin..
and second the upload thing, when creating image gallery lots of the time its contain a lot of images and folders…

i want to see how to upload 700 folders with sub folders benith him when the “import” button is in the end of those 700 folders which means i need to choose folder and then go alot to the end of the page and click import and then again and again

am i the only one that have this situation?

i have a folder with 380 folders inside…
how i can really import it with reasonable way…
even when i use folder import he dont import a folder with folders inside.. (that i dont know i see as very basic upload way this days, but again its free.. and its working fine but again after so many years no solution to this) and if i want to upload folder by folder the list is endless and its can take ages
