In reply to: [Sports Club Management] Sports Club Management plug-in plus payment? For each member, there is a field ‘user name’.
The purpose is to enter the ‘WordPress user name’ (as is registered for a new user) and it makes sure that a member can see his/her privacy related information (address, phone, etc.) when he/she is logged in in WordPress (and can still not see other people’s privacy related information).
So, if you have a workflow where someone registers as a user (in WP) for payments: you use the same user name for my plugin. It requires manual editting.

(I think this answers your question. If not, let me know. Otherwise, I’d like to close this topic later. Anyway, you can also ask more information through the plugin’s dedicated website and use the contact form.)

In reply to: [Sports Club Management] Sports Club Management plug-in plus payment?Hi
Thanks for your questions.
It is not possible for people to register themselves as member. Neither is it possible to register yourself for participation to a league without interaction by someone who has ‘editor’ privilages.
I get more requests for adding ‘payment’. It is not planned and – if I would look into this at all – it will most likely be a new plugin (most of the times payment is part of premium add-ons).
Including a more versatile mail support is something that is on my wishlist too. But this will take time as it does not have my highest priority. Good to know though that you would appreciate such a feature.

In reply to: [Sports Club Management] Add matches without fixed calendar at startHi
I have 2 answers:
Short-term workaround: create the league and delete all (placeholder) matches that are being generated.
To be implemented (not available yet): I am thinking on decoupling the creation of the league and populating the competitors and matches for it; this would mean that after creation you can choose to create the calendar of matches or not.
Hope this helps.

In reply to: [Sports Club Management] Connect member details & invoices to my accountHi
Yes this is possible. I’ve done that for my site too.
I use the ‘login-logout’ plugin to have a login widget in the sidebar and have customized it a little so that after login the user can -by clicking- directly go to its own member page (see example for the widget – you cannot login, obviously). The customization is done in the WordPress-way, in the functions.php of my child-theme. This is my code, as a reference:
// login name of member shall link to member's private page, if this exists add_filter('login_logout_username_link', 'bcnuenen_username_link', 10, 3); function bcnuenen_username_link( $html, $current_user ) { return do_shortcode('[scm_member_username_link]'); }
Wrt to having a personal page for every member. Two solutions:
1. For each member, edit the member’s text area by pasting a shortcode for member data details and pasting a shortcode for showing member invoice info.
2. (the WordPress way), in your child-theme create a template that will generate the layout of the scm_member page (and in this template you use the same shortcodes as in 1.)As you can see, no deviations from the WordPress way-of-working.
Hope this helps

In case of any additional questions: feel free the use the contact form on the plugin’s site too.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Sports Club Management] “Member”/”User”Hi
It is not required that a club-member is also a WP user. You can manage your member list (and invoices and competitions, whatever you do) without members being WP users. The shortcodes show all the data, except for privacy related data.
If you’d like a member to be able to view whether has own personal data is correct (or you want him/her to see info on invoices) that member must be a WP user. Otherwise there is no way to log in. In addition, you must link the two together: add the WP username into the member record.
Wrt “can members edit each other’s pages”. All depending of the user’s role. There is an overview of this here.
Am not aware of the Ultimate User plugin. Cannot comment on that.
Hope this helps!

In reply to: [Sports Club Management] Integration with buddypressHi bookeame,
I do not see any reaction or clarification from your side…
For me it is not clear what the issue is (you really need to be more specific).
When you are not able to provide any information on this, I’ll have to consider this topic as resolved. I’ll close this request at the end of July, in case I do not hear from you.
Thx

In reply to: [Sports Club Management] Integration with buddypressHi
Could you be more specific?
What did you do to say “plugin integrates with buddypress” and what do you mean by “integrates”?
What do you mean by “there is some complement for integralo”? What is “integralo”?Thx
