I de-activated the lightbox plugin and the description appears below the thumbnail. Which is good but I need a lightbox style plugin that works with the inbuilt gallery upload.

I am open to alternatives that work as described above

Thanks for the reply. I have changed my mind in that I would now like the slider to be in the main content section side by side with the sidebar and not above it. With this on the posts frontpage only.

I have tried using the above you have suggested but it did not work for me. I have no doubts I am doing something wrong as I just fudge code here and there without any real control or skill.

I am using wow slider and this is the code I use

[wowslider id=”20″].

In what file and where do I insert it?

Very well spotted. No I did not do it that way. I just then did it the way you said in the last post and it worked. Thank you so much. Just have to work out how to get the menu all the way over to the right.

Thanks for that WPyogi. Definitely a few steps closer. The first bit of code worked perfectly.

As you can see I got the nav menu to move right but not quite to the edge.

I tried moving the </nav><!– #access –> line in header.php above the hgroup but no luck with that. The header image is still above the menu. I even tried it right at the top of the page with no luck.

I just had this happen. I fixed it by copying the original twenty eleven functions.php into my custom theme folder and then re did the mods that were working. In my case it was just change the header image header height.

it worked for me with only about 3 mins downtime. Maybe someone with more knowledge could assist.
