Well, I’m building the new theme in a test subdirectory. When the new theme is done, I will point the domain to the new subdirectory. So, can I just copy the LMS folder to the new subdirectory to achieve the desired result?
With thanks,
Paul
Yes, it appears to be working now on tablet and phone. Thank you.

I further noticed that it removed the Recent Posts Widget Extended plugin from a page. Sorry I didn’t notice all three issues at the beginning.

In reply to: [Gold Addons for Elementor] Your plugin disables WordPress elementsI also noticed that it removed a column in a footer template in Elementor. Just so you know.
@martin177, in step 1), do you mean create the shortcode in a test page using the regular wordpress editor, copy the newly created shortcode (from visual or text editor?), and then proceed to Elementor and copy it into the shortcode element?
Thx.
I added
/plugins/elementor/
/plugins/elementor-pro/to the ignore list in Fast Velocity Minify and this resolved my issue.
Thx for weighing in.

In reply to: [Fast Velocity Minify] Elementor Progress Bar not working on MobileI figured it out before you replied.
I put the two files you recommended into the ignore list and that resolved my issue. It did drop my YSlow Score from 91% to 88%, but I can improve on that (no CDN yet, for example). The PageSpeed score remains at 98%.
Thank you so much. I learned something today.

In reply to: [Fast Velocity Minify] Elementor Progress Bar not working on MobileI found the ignore list. I guess the files you recommend adding should be added there (but I’m not sure).
Thx, again.

In reply to: [Fast Velocity Minify] Elementor Progress Bar not working on MobileThanks. Please advise where is the ignore list. Also, where to add the files you recommend (or others). Sorry, but I’m new at this.

In reply to: [A faster website! (aka defer.js)] AmazingThank you. I updated your plugin and tried it. Unfortuneately, it did not resolve the issue with the progress bar functionality.
Lazy Load by WP Rocket allows the progess bar to function normally. It gives me a PageSpeed of 92% and YSlow Score of 77% (although I’m still building and optimizing the page, so the scores will get better). Of course, these scores would be even better with your plugin. When I deactivate Lazy Load by WP Rocket and activate your plugin, the PageSpeed score improves to 93% and the YSlow Score is unchanged at 77%. Your plugin does a beter job of optizimizing images and a much better job on Defer parsing of JavaScript (99% vs. 92%).
I haven’t had a chance yet to try your code. I’ll let you know the results when I do.

In reply to: [A faster website! (aka defer.js)] AmazingOkay, thanks. I’ll give it a try. There’s no plugin that produces results like yours.

In reply to: [A faster website! (aka defer.js)] AmazingYes, I did mean that before installing your plugin, the progress bar only works after scrolling the page to the footer and scrolling back up.
Your plugin was not activated because I’ve been experimenting with other plugins to see if I can get decent page speed with the progress bar element also working until your plugin is fixed.
I am not well versed in code, so I will probably just wait until you figure out a solution with your plugin and then activate it.
It may be that the problem is often if jQuery is loaded with async or defer it can break some jQuery functions, specifically inline scripts which require jQuery to be loaded before the scripts are run. Maybe that’s why I have to scroll to the bottom of the page so that the jQuery function can be loaded?

In reply to: [A faster website! (aka defer.js)] AmazingI installed another progress bar. I disabled all plugins. Both progress bars worked until I enabled your plugin, the last one I enabled, then they both didn’t work.
Just thought you should know.

In reply to: [A faster website! (aka defer.js)] AmazingYeah, no attachment feature. Just go to https://elementor.provisionhouse.org/ and see for yourself. It’s under “Success Rate Comparison”. Scroll to the footer at the bottom of the page, then scroll back up and you’ll see the elements have fully populated.
I am still in the process of modifying the site template, an Astra theme using the Elementor page builder.

In reply to: [A faster website! (aka defer.js)] AmazingI don’t see an attachment option on this WP form. I’ll try opening another thread to see if it’s available there.
