  • @danbzly — did you ever get this resolved to your satisfaction? I’m having what appears to be an identical problem. Can’t find anything about it online. Seriously thinking about going back to selling my work through WooCommerce.

Same here. WP 4.7.2 and Sunshine 2.5.13 — while I’m not using the WP Command Line Interface, I’m getting a slough of php errors in my log …

Any idea what might cause these?

Me too. Searching far and wide for clues, but no luck fixing it yet.

My problem started at the same time that images wouldn’t upload without throwing an http error. Thinking something was going amiss during image upload, I subsequently installed and activated Add From Server. Does what it’s supposed to — I can upload via FTP and then import images to the library via the new plugin — but I still can’t regenerate thumbnails or generate original thumbnails for that matter. Nor can I watermark newly imported images — though I was able to do this previously via the Image Watermark plugin.

Deactivating all plugins and activating Twenty Fifteen has no effect either.

And I wrote my reply before seeing yours! How funny …

Thanks for (another) fast response, Jeroen! I adore your plugin, and I would be frustrated if there were no way for visitors to control the number of products appearing on each page. I’m just trying to understand why/when one might not want to send users to the first page when PPP changes. If it were to strictly redirect visitors to the first page whenever the PPP value changes — and there were no way to change that behavior in settings — would that hurt the usefulness of the plugin for anyone? Or would it only help numbskulls (like me) by making it impossible for us to accidentally hide products from our visitors? ??

I’m probably overlooking some key detail, but it feels a bit like having a self-destruct button on the dashboard of a car. Clearly, one should never press it; but why is it there to begin with? ??

Just stumbled upon this thread from 8 months ago. Sorry for rehashing it — I didn’t know there was a way to fix this problem in the admin interface. I have checked the “When checked and a new number of PPP is selected, the visitor will be send to the first page of the product category” option, ostensibly solving my problem. Would have done so initially had I recognized the implication of leaving this box un-ticked.

I’m changing this topic status to “resolved,” though I’m puzzled as to whether it could ever be desirable to run the PPP plugin without sending visitors to the first page upon selection of a new PPP value. If I may ask, why is this an option?

That was spectacular, Jeroen! After updating to 1.1.6, I loaded both front page and shop pages with no messages in the error log whatsoever.

I did, however, discover a new and probably unrelated concern that I will post in a new thread.

Thanks for an amazingly speedy resolution on the static front page query.php challenge! ??

Hope this helps you isolate the culprit. I noticed Ric’s thread, but didn’t think it was related because I don’t have the shop page as my home page. Just a static home page with a slider and some text. The shop is linked from the main menu. Also, the errors appear even when I have every other plugin (including WooCommerce) deactivated.
