In reply to: [WP RSS Multi Importer] Problem with Posts on WP RSS Multi Importerardit.selimi,
I’m sorry, I can’t really understand what you’re saying here. If you’re trying to create posts with this plugin, you’ll want to configure the settings on the Multi-Importer > Auto Post page in wp-admin. If that’s off then you won’t be getting posts on your site.
Hope that helps. If not, try to rephrase your question and I’ll try to help further.

In reply to: [WP RSS Multi Importer] 404 Error When Feed Post is PublishedYou said “Any feed I pull, I’m only getting the title of the feed w/no content in the text box” … where are you seeing this? On the “Add a Feed” page? Just trying to figure out the steps you’re following.
Also, is this with all feeds you try or only certain ones? If only certain ones or you’ve only tried a few, can you post the links here?
Thanks

In reply to: [WP RSS Multi Importer] Fatal Error on InstallVerveBoston,
Sorry for the trouble. It looks like we’re using the same function name as the AJAX Search Pro plugin you have installed. If you can deactivate that in the meantime, we’ll rename the function here and get it in place for the next version.

In reply to: [WP RSS Multi Importer] How can I get rid of Linkedin?zep101,
The ALL-CAPS variable you see is a constant set to a specific URL. It’s defined in wp-rss-multi-importer.php and it’s set to your plugin directory URL:
https://yoursite.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-rss-multi-importer/images/
… so it’s looking for the image here:
https://www.jozepfit4life.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-rss-multi-importer/images/linkedin.png
… and not finding it. If I try that on a site with this installed, I do find that image just fine. Is it possible you deleted it in an attempt to get it to be hidden?

In reply to: [WP RSS Multi Importer] Add feed not work – please Helpffatop,
I’m using WordPress 4.0 and do not have this issue:

Can you try deactivating other plugins and see if you’re still seeing the issue?

In reply to: [WP RSS Multi Importer] Is this new update getting hacked?Got the screenshots and thank you for doing that!
tools4toni,
Are you using the Auto Post function of the plugin? Do you have anything set to auto delete? If so, can you either write out or post a screenshot of those settings groups so we can try to recreate?
Thanks!

In reply to: [WP RSS Multi Importer] Is this new update getting hacked? For all those having this problem … could you take a screenshot of your Global Settings, Auto-Post Settings (if you use this feature) and Auto Post settings and either post links to those here or send them to hi [at] theproperweb.com? I’m helping Allen troubleshoot this issue and how your site is set will make a big difference in how it behaves.
Thanks!

In reply to: [PROPER Contact Form] not receiving emails from contact formATuzzo … can you take a screenshot of your PROPER Contact settings page (just the relevant part) and the admin email at Settings > General and send that to hi (at) theproperweb (dot) com? Also send your site’s domain so I can take a look at the site.
Thanks!

In reply to: [PROPER Widgets] Parse error in Version 1.0.0 – broke my siteZilla … thanks again for bringing this to my attention. Just pushed a fix in version 1.0.1, give it a try and make sure that works for you. I tested it in 5.2.17 so we should be good.

In reply to: [PROPER Contact Form] not receiving emails from contact formWell, I can confirm that the emails are going out as they should, I just re-tested that to make sure I didn’t miss anything. I’ll look to see if there’s anything I can do or a little more granular control over the email addresses being used.
In the meantime, try changing the admin email address at Settings > General to one that shares your site domain. It looks like some WP installs might be defaulting to that address despite the changes I’m making to the outbound email.

In reply to: [PROPER Contact Form] not receiving emails from contact formEmail servers can and do modify their spam filtering and other attributes on a regular basis. Since they don’t release the details, it’s hard to say when the emails go into effect.
What you want to do is make sure the sending address is from your domain, not the addresses you send to. Make sure your “Default contact submission email” is one from your domain and “Use the email address above as notification sender” is checked. This will make sure the email that’s sending matches the domain it’s coming from.

In reply to: [PROPER Widgets] Parse error in Version 1.0.0 – broke my siteZilla,
So sorry for the trouble here. This was well-tested but on a later version of PHP. It looks like I’m using a technique there that’s only supported in 5.2 or later.
I’ll work on a fix tomorrow and get it released ASAP. Thanks for posting here so I knew there was a problem!
