In reply to: Upgrading database questionActually, it was on the same domain but, I needed to preserve the original installation in order to keep the blog live while I worked on the new one. I ended up upgrading the original install to 2.6 and then exported the data from the DB into the new one. Worked fine

In reply to: Add widget to specific pagesThe way I have it setup now is through page templates where I switch out the sidebar for each template. Again, the desire is to use the same widget for all the pages. However, when you add a widget via the wp admin it completely replaces the sidebar with the widget(s) you add. I just want to have the sidebar AND the widgets.
Does this make sense? Thanks for the help thus far.

I want all of the pages to have the widget but, each page will have different sidebars. Can I load a widget via a sidebar template instead of the admin interface?
