I have categories like this in the category admin

Europe

-Northern Europe
–Ireland
–Faroe Islands
–United Kingdom

-Western Europe
–Austria
–Belgium
–Switzerland

Africa

-Northern Africa
–Algeria
–Egypt
–Western Sahara

etc

So I am ok to show all categories

but if I want to just show Northern Europe and its subcategories it does not show

I have tried it again and updated the plugin also … but still not showing a specific category for me.
The other options seem to be working ….

I use / view the full category list:
[wpb_category_accordion taxonomy=”category” orderby=”name” order=”ASC” show_count=”no” hide_empty=”no”]

Main Menu:
[wpb_menu_accordion menu=”Main menu”]

and custom taxonomy:
[wpb_category_accordion taxonomy=”videos_categories” orderby=”name” order=”ASC” show_count=”no” hide_empty=”no”]

I have fixed the issue … it was due to a checkbox in the plugin (when it is checked / active)

“check to activate related post by taxonomy”

I have both tags and categories in my post …. does this piece of functionality require another plugin to work?

Some possible additions which would be great just to add to the functionality.

• If you could set both the “to” and “from” destinations on each post … so you could have maps for specific routes
• If you could add “via” points, so you could map out a specific route

Would work well for travel sites mapping out a specific route.

Would be happy to help test if you made the additions .. they would definitely be something I would use

Thanks for the quick reply … I deleted & reinstalled and the admin looks great now.
But when I try to add a stream or a feed in a stream … when I hit save, the cogwheel overlay spins … but it goes back to list page and nothing has saved.

Could it be connected?

Many thanks for the quick reply, much appreciated … the problem for me is not the length … its the use of shortcodes in my post content

I use Visual Composer and the short codes used by it show up before the text in the excerpt used by your plugin in the front end display.

I am sure this would be the case for other shortcodes in other scenarios … custom galleries etc.

I am guessing there will be a number of other users which will come across the same.

Are there any plans to include the option of the default wordpress excerpt?
