Just one last question … I have checked the database and I can see the meta key field and the meta value for the custom field I want to update.

When I enter in details into your plugin fields … a change is reflected in the post, but it breaks the field in the post, but it seems to be with the meta_value.

DB stuff is something completely new to me … I can see what is happening … but not sure how to make an effective update … could you point me in the right direction, I would be very much appreciated ??

The custom field has a meta_key of playlist_id … if I add a playlist item to the field (in the post itself) … I see the meta_value attached is ….

a:1:{i:0;s:2:”96″;}

where “96” is the id number of the playlist.

If I remove that playlist and re-save the post … so the meta value is empty … then I go to your plugin and enter a “custom field name” of the meta_key (playlist_id) and enter the “value” of

a:1:{i:0;s:2:”96″;}

for the post I want to update … when I save the custom field … the meta_value appears in the db as

s:19:”a:1:{i:0;s:2:”96″;}”;

What would I need to enter in your “value” field … so that a value of … a:1:{i:0;s:2:”96″;} … appears in the meta_value in the db?

Hi NginUS … just a update I have found out … I was onto Google yesterday and found out that their “host” service has been deprecated since the 1st of August … which forms part of this plugin … so you will notice the urls for the images being with …

https://www.googledrive.com/host/

Essentially you will get a 502 error if you hit the image directly approx one in five times … and it will eventually get worse.

I have discovered if you use “https://docs.google.com/uc?id=” with the image id at the end … instead of “https://www.googledrive.com/host/” … it will work.

So maybe if the plugin could be updated with that it could work … but maybe there is a better solution.

Hi NginUS … just adding to you support ticket as I am having the same issue / so Moch Amir knows it is more than a single instance … not sure of the route cause … but maybe Google made some updates with the issues they were experiencing with Google Drive yesterday.

Hopefully Moch Amir can identify the route cause of the issue / a fix ??

Just a quick follow up on the Extended Restrictions for Ads.

I have a add that I have placed a restriction to show for a specific category … on the category list page the ad appear fine.
But it does not appear on any of the post pages on that category.

Also I tried to add a restriction for an add to appear on a specific page id … but the ad did not show.

Is there some other element to I need to factor for showing restrictions to specific post / pages?

I have all the rules checked
“The rules of the extended restrictions of the Ads. You can reduce the length of the ad request by disabling unused rules.”
