Hi, Kevin!
Thank you so much for further detailing it!
After doing some research I’ve discovered that the problem was caused by the plugin called “QuickShare”. Disabling it solved the problem.
I might spend some time debugging it…
Thanks,
MihaiHi Kevin,
Thanks for your feedback!
The error occurs with any article and it all started a few months. May it be related to the PHP version?
After failing to publish say the latest article with this error message:
“There has been an error with the Apple News API: INVALID_DOCUMENT – ‘text’ property is not valid and well-formed HTML. See offset=259/line=2/column=238. (keyPath components->11)”
I’ve downloaded its JSON, which is:

”Then I went to:
https://jsonformatter.curiousconcept.com/And validated the JSON, so there is nothing wrong with it!
The problem occurs with any article from shinyshiny.tv and techdigest.tv.
I could also supply you FTP and WP admin access, if you need.
Grateful if we could fix this because I’m unable to publish to Apply News for a couple of months.
Thanks,

In reply to: [Remove HTTP: Fix Mixed Content Warning] Plugin Stopped Working on 2 SitesThis plugin works without a problem, so I would strongly advice that you don’t give up on your migration to HTTPS.
The way I do migrations to HTTPS is to replace as many HTTP occurrences of the domain name with HTTPS as possible.
I’m doing them first on various plugins settings, then on the widgets, menus and wherever else they are hardcoded and accessible via the WP admin.
For the rest, I’m doing it at the database level, so some knowledge of mySQL is required.
Giving up on Cloud Flare isn’t a very good idea, as the problem is surely not there.

In reply to: [Remove HTTP: Fix Mixed Content Warning] Plugin Stopped Working on 2 SitesBoth of your domains are loading properly as HTTPS now.
Probably you’ve had some caching issues earlier.

In reply to: [Remove HTTP: Fix Mixed Content Warning] Plugin Stopped Working on 2 SitesAnother problem is that the above-mentioned image file returns a 403 error.
You may like to check that image reference and adjust it to an existing image.

In reply to: [Remove HTTP: Fix Mixed Content Warning] Plugin Stopped Working on 2 SitesHi,
The first domain that you’ve mentioned is reported as insecure because this file is requested as an insecure element (meaning via ‘HTTP’):
https://www.traceyboudine.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/fractal-1644488_1920-1.jpg
So you should find the place from where this image is referenced and update its part to a relative one (say without “http:”).

In reply to: [Quick Flickr Widget] How to get the Flickr photos URLs starting with HTTPS?The quick fix that I implemented and that you may like to eventually adopt is:
1) replaced:
$link = esc_url( $photo->link ); $src = esc_url( $photo->media->m ); $title = esc_attr( $photo->title );
2) with:
$link = esc_url( $photo->link ); $httpslink = str_replace("http:","https:",$link); $link = $httpslink; $src = esc_url( $photo->media->m ); $httpssrc = str_replace("http:","https:",$src); $src = $httpssrc; $title = esc_attr( $photo->title );
Another thing that I did for the sake of sticking to HTTPS (not really necessary for my request) was to replace the 2 instances of “http” with “https” on the flickr api URLs from the plugin file.
Thanks,

In reply to: [Exec-PHP] Exec-PHP using PHP Version 7.1 failsHi,
The file is:
wp-exec-php.phpfrom this location:
/wp-content/plugins/wp-exec-php/so:
/wp-content/plugins/wp-exec-php/wp-exec-php.phpat line 987 it must say:
&& $blog_user =& new WP_User($blog_user->ID)
change that into:
&& $blog_user = new WP_User($blog_user->ID)
You could edit that file from inside the WP admin or you could download it via FTP, edit it with a tool like notepad, notepad+, ultraedit etc., save and upload it back.
Reloading your website or WP admin shouldn’t report this error any longer.
Kind Regards,

In reply to: [Exec-PHP] Exec-PHP using PHP Version 7.1 failsHello Guys,
Fixing it is as easy as replacing this line (line 987):
&& $blog_user =& new WP_User($blog_user->ID)
with:
&& $blog_user = new WP_User($blog_user->ID)
I could also pack it and make it available for download, if you are not willing to edit that file on your own.
Enjoy,
MihaiThanks, Takayuki san!
It there anyway in which I could keep using:
The “From:” as:
[your-name] <[your-email]>And the “Subject” as:
[your-subject]At the moment they provide these 2 errors:
From:
“This email address does not belong to the same domain as the site.”Subject:
“This field can be empty depending on user input.”Thanks,
MihaiOn my side it refreshes the home page without a problem on WP v4.0 and the latest plugin version.
What I need is a feature which to allow me to set it to refresh only those pages where it will show up (I already mentioned them: home, category, monthly archive + that very individual post page) as an alternative to this other option:
“Clear all cache files when a post or page is published or updated.”
It did it since when?
I know for sure that when I started this topic it didn’t do it ??
