we have checked the “no media” error for hashtag feed.
This happens this is how Instagram Graph API works.
This is not a bug in the plugin.Graph API endpoint for hashtag recent media returns only public media published within last 24 hours.
Also note that You can query a maximum of 30 unique hashtags within a 7 day period.
Please see the docs here.We will release an update of the plugin soon, so that you can query top media of hashtag as well. This will be useful feature in case of rare hashtags. As is stated in the documentation
Popularity is determined by a mix of views and viewer interaction using the same methodology that determines the top posts when searching for a hashtag on https://www.instagram.com.
Hope this will solve the problem, at least partially.

It seems Facebook Graph API does not return media for these hashtags, although they exist. We are working now to find some solution to this problem which will be released soon.
@wonderewoonwereld , renew interval is one hour by default,

hi @bcavs,We are sorry to for this problem. Yes, Instagram has deprecated retrieving hashtag media. However the plugin still works fine with user feed and hashtag filters as well which is premium feature. So only part of its functionality has been closed.
As for the workaround, we decided to delay the implementation of new Graph API because of other projects with higher priority. We are sorry to say that. You may use other plugins to display hashtag feed.

If your company sends your customer’s personal data to another service provider for processing, you need that contract. No customer data is being sent to 10web or Instagram for processing via Instagram Feed plugin, so you do not need any AV contract.

thanks for choosing Instagram Feed plugin.
Most probably the plugin does not work now because there have been breaking changes of Instagram API in April. If you have older version of the plugin, you need to update it.
Besides that there is no limitation of using the plugin. It doesn’t break just because six months have passed. The plugin comes under GPL license, so there is no key or something else required to activate it.Please note that this support forum is not for premium products. did you enter your page access token, app ID and secret? They are necessary for the feed to update.

when you get that error message, does the plugin get facebook data ?

there is no need to submit your app for review. If you want to pull your own page’s content and display it with our plugin, you need to follow instructions on this page. Just keep your app in development mode.
