Thanks so much for your reply. Unfortunately we have tried disabling virtually every setting in the plugin and the issue is still present. The plugin is also fully up-to-date, as is the version of WordPress.

As we don’t have a subscription to iThemes Pro at the moment, we are not able to open a direct ticket, so a bit stuck on this one!

The opposite of what [events orderby=”event_start_date”] gives you, basically.

We’ve purchased the add-on and, mostly, everything is working well! Thank you.

We just have a couple of tiny hitches still. In https://welcomeau.phdmedia.com/#theedit the first image of the carousel does not load. In https://welcomecn.phdmedia.com/#theedit the second image in the carousel does not load.

In the other 13 countries, everything seems perfect.

Do you have any suggestions re: these small problems?

Thanks for you reply, you are correct that the get_option will not work, that will just return 10 (woocommerce default).

BUT You pointed me in the right direction, added a is_admin() condition fixed it ??

It seems to be fixed now.

I deactiaved every plugin except for Woocommerce, installed Mailchimp for Woocommerce, then reactivated the other plugins one at a time.

Everything seems fine now.

This only occurs when the mailchimp for woocommerce plugin is active. As soon as it is deactivated the site crashes to a white screen (no errors, just a blank page). As soon as the plugin is deactivated (via FTP) the site works fine again.

I found the reason; the site is hosted on a server that has forced caching. After purging the cache it works fine.

I’ve discovered that my confusion was all down to a bug with a 3rd party plugin, WooCommerce Hide Checkout Shipping Address, and I’ll let them know. It replaces the global settings with the instance settings.
