James, could it be something to do with the hosting provider?
My host is NameCheap, and they are always extremely helpful via chat.
In this instance, they’ve changed the PHP default settings.
Anyway, I haven’t re-activated Jetpack (yet) because I am afraid of getting the Error 503, again. I might try for 7.5.3@krusher thanks for your useful advice.
Yes, I’ll wait until Jetpack’s next update…
Until then, it’s safer to keep it inactive.
I have already wasted several working days with the Error 503… I thought it was my fault!Only now I have realized that Jetpack has been inactive for one full week.
And I suppose that’s why the Error 503 is gone.
You can’t imagine the number of working days I have lost because of the Error 503.
I had no clue what to do!
But I don’t want to go back to the same nightmare.
This site pays my bills.
Apparently, my site works fine, without Jetpack.I no longer get the Error 503.
But I’ve lost all my subscribers when I’ve re-installed Jetpack as NEW.
Why can’t you help me in getting them back? Why to contact you at Jetpack.com, if nothing happens?
All we get is an automatic message about the Happiness of your team of Engineers…In both cases, they were just a message displayed after submitting.
I never received a copy of what I wrote, in both instances.Twice I have received automatic replies from Jetpak:
“Your support request has been submitted to our team of Happiness Engineers. We will respond as soon as possible.”
Is your Contact Form out of order as well – just like mine, on my site?James, I did submit a new ticket, now.
This is the message I have received:
“Your support request has been submitted to our team of Happiness Engineers. We will respond as soon as possible.”
Thanks.James, I’ve just noticed that I was logged in as ‘trymattress’ when I’ve submitted the ticket to Jetpack. My email is [removed]

I did submit a ticket to Jetpack, but so far, I’ve never received any reply.
I have lost all my subscribers and my contact form no longer works – I had to delete it from my site.I had 70 subscribers in my database… I only have 1, now.
My contact form is no longer working.
I also had several customized widgets… and now they all vanished.
Thanks.James, I did submit a support request to Jetpack 24 hours ago, at your URL.
Yesterday, I’ve contacted my hosting provider, and they have increased my PHP limits.
I had default PHP limits, before.
Now, I already can update the content of existing webpages and the error 503 is no longer occurring.
But the other problems mentioned above remain…
Thanks.Hello,
The script for the Contact Form is no longer working.
And the widget for collecting emails for my blog has vanished.
Please try to sort out the connection error on your end.
I am unable to work on my site… the error 503 comes back.
Thanks.I’ve just changed my current PHP version to 7.3
Is that ok?
Thanks.
