Thanks @fstat
Hi @davidanderson and @philclothier,
We don’t see it that way. We’ve had a lot of feedback from our customers that they didn’t realize that Jetpack offered something, but that they’d prefer to use Jetpack’s solution if they had known. We’ve even observed people searching for Jetpack features by name (like “publicize”) in the plugin directory, when they already had Jetpack installed. This just attempts to let them know that they already have Jetpack and does something they’re looking for, without getting too much in their way if they’re intentionally looking for something else. The only people who will see this are folks who have Jetpack installed and active already, and they’re absolutely free to ignore it, or click the “hide this suggestion” link and remove it entirely from their results.

If you don’t mind sharing and you have the time, I’d love to learn more about your Photon experience. If that works for you, feel free to contact me via this form.
We’re always eager to learn more about how we can improve our tools and your experiences.

Hi Jim
Thanks for sharing. Unfortunately the Facebook widget iframe provided by Facebook isn’t responsive. However, you can reduce the widget width in the widget settings. https://jetpack.me/support/extra-sidebar-widgets/facebook-like-box-widget/
Reducing it to be small enough to fit in that sidebar may make it a bit cramped. I haven’t seen many great solutions to make responsive Facebook widgets. I will take this to our team and see if we can find a solution in the future.

Thanks for the URL Steve!
While the mobile theme won’t optimize your images automatically for mobile, Photon will. Have you thought about activating Photon?
It’s a free service that mirrors your images on our CDN, optimizes them for all devices, then serves them to your visitors in a really fast manner. One of the best features of Photon is that it will resize your images and deliver optimized versions of them to mobile users which prevents downloading unnecessarily large files.

Hi @bmamedia
Could you share the URL of the site you’re experiencing this issue with? If possible, in addition a screenshot would be really helpful.
thanks,
Jesse
I don’t actually see Jetpack sharing on the post you linked to. I see another sharing plugin is active, which I think is powering these buttons.
We can rule out a theme conflict by temporarily changing your site’s theme to a default theme (such as Twenty Fifteen) and trying again. If you’re willing to do that, give it a shot and let me know.
You can also check whether any other plugins on your site may have a conflict. Please check our Known Issues list here:
https://jetpack.me/support/getting-started-with-jetpack/troubleshooting-tips/Depending on the outcomes of the theme switch you can also try to deactivate all plugins on your site, and see if that resolves the issue. If it does, then activate them one at a time to determine which is causing the conflict.
Hope this helps us get to the bottom of this issue.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Share and likes buttonsHi @dancaragea
We did have a previously documented problem with share counts but it has since been fixed. As I browse your site I can see share counts and like counts on every post I visit.
Here’s a screenshot of what I see on this post
Since I’m not able to duplicate the problem I think you’re having, I wonder if possibly you updated Jetpack recently and it solved the problem? If not, and you’re still experiencing the issues please let me know more and I’ll dig deeper to help you solve the problem.
thanks,
Jesse
