But I came across the same problem with Facebook also.
Whenever I try to post a link of my website pages or posts on FB, it shows this white blank file (blank.jpg) on the post instead of the feature image of the post.
I had queried about the same to some IT people, they say that it has something to do with WP itself, since the path of the file belongs to WP only: https://wordpress.com/i/blank.jpg

Now I recall, that once upon a time, I had installed Jetpack, and from that moment this issue started. I had asked about this problem in the support forum of Jetpack. It is given on the following link:

I’m in miserable condition. Don’t know how to handle this issue.

Me to having the same problem on my site: https://www.vidyasagar.academy.
It cannot be justified to spend such kind of money each year for gravity forms.
I am inclining to switch over for Formidable forms now, as they are giving life time updates. This deal is much cheaper than spending money on yearly renewal for gravity forms.

This is I am asking particularly because of following explanation given by WP….

I tried with .htaccess file too. But every day the same thing is happening.
When I re-save the permalinks page the things become normal. Otherwise many of my links show 404.
This is very problematic. Everyday monitoring is not expected from WP.

Actually two of my articles with following links were ranked 1st on Google since last two years.

1) https://www.yashplus.com/2014/01/how-npn-transistor-works-tutorials-of-forward-reverse-biasing/

2) https://www.yashplus.com/2013/11/how-ic-555-works-fundamentals-of-ic-555-its-basic-applications/

But due to this problem, now I am no where on Google.
