In reply to: [Anti-Malware Security and Brute-Force Firewall] Not at all what it claimsAfter just using this plugin and being astounded at how effective it was — and how helpful the developer’s website information and forum are — I was taken aback to discover that someone had given this plugin a “one star” rating.
Then, reading the “reasons” given by jackstoriesorg for this low score — with every one of his points, not just wrong but as wrong as wrong can be — felt like visiting the twilight zone.
This is a superb plugin which can be used for free for as long as jackstoriesorg — or any of us — want.
I tried it for free on several of my websites and then HAD to donate because I felt so grateful that it not only delivered on its promise, but surpassed my expectations.

In reply to: [Infobox field for Gravity Forms] Problem with 1.2.5?Greetings.
Sorry about being so vague.
Here is a Gravity Forms test I’m working on:
https://fismotron.education/fvfs-test-page/
If you enter any number in the field: “Film Society Members”
AND
… and any number in the field “NPV Cinema Attendance”
… an info box appears next to “NPV Cinema Attendance”
But it neither opens nor displays its message.
Also, at the very bottom of the form there is an infobox titled “Testing infobox”.
This again illustrates the problem.
It’s as if they’ve gone on strike.
Are you able to get them back to work? ??
Thanks.

In reply to: [Front-end Editor for WordPress] Is there a button for lists? Thanks. I was looking for an answer to the same question.
Type a dash, then as soon you do a space the dash becomes a bullet point.
Occasionally it doesn’t seem to work. But pretty good most of the time.

In reply to: Remover Ninja Firewall using FTPDear Keith,
Thanks for letting me know and for the details of how you solved the problem. But what a hassle!
As it happens, it seems I was more fortunate.
I just got very helpful assistance from nintechnet and only a few minutes ago, was able to fix my blank/white page website problem.
Here’s the thread — just for the record.

Greetings,
Good news! That worked perfectly.
For others reading this thread …
Within my Wodpress installation I located the .htaccess file
This is in the same places as files such as index.php and wp-config.php are located.
I downloaded the .htaccess file and then opened it (using NoteTab Light)
Found this bit:
# BEGIN NinjaFirewall php_value auto_prepend_file /xxxxxxxxxx/ninjafirewall/lib/firewall.php # END NinjaFirewall
… and changed it to this:
# BEGIN NinjaFirewall # php_value auto_prepend_file /xxxxxxxxxx/ninjafirewall/lib/firewall.php # END NinjaFirewall
Saved and uploaded this to overwrite the existing .htaccess file.
Went to my site. It was no longer blank/white.
Updated Ninja Firewall.
Went back to the .htaccess file and removed the #
Saved that.
Uploaded.Done.
Thanks nintechnet for your assistance.

Greetings.
Sorry, but I don’t see either php.ini or .user.ini at that location.
Here is a screenshot of what I can see
Your further advice would be appreciated.
Thanks.

In reply to: Remover Ninja Firewall using FTPHowdy.
Did you finally get this issue resolved?
I’m having a similar problem.

Greetings.
Two of my sites which use Ninja Firewall have also gone blank.
https://missionbeach.filmclub.org.au/
https://barossalibraryfriends.org.au/
My cPanel uses PHP Version 5.3.28
I read the post where you write:
In the meantime you can try to comment out (or delete) lines 82 to 86:
(script)
Then try to install it again and use Plesk UI to add the directives.
… but I don’t know how to do this.
Is it possible to temporarily uninstall Ninja Firewall by simply deleting the plugin from within my FTP program? Or would that cause further complications?
Thanks.

Thanks for your help nintechnet.
Terrific plugin by the way! ??
Greetings.
I had the same concern (and I’m also using Installatron).
Just wanting to confirm: It’s okay to ignore such notifications from NinjaFirewall.
Someone accessed a script that was modified or created less than 10 hour(s) ago:

REQUEST_URI : /deleteme.chadieyi.php
REMOTE_ADDR : xxxxxx
Date : October 14, 2014 @ 21:58:10 (UTC +1100)Yes?
Thanks for any advice on this matter.
