Great. Thank you! ??
It’s okay. I figured it out. Just have to install them as plugins.
Hi Josh,
Great. Thanks for letting me know!
Priyanka
Hi Josh,
Okay, I tried that. But here’s the thing that I’m confused about. Even if I replace the actual affiliate URL with the straight affiliate URL, when I click on the banner ad, it displays the long affiliate URL for a brief moment ( https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=1234&u=1234&m=1234&urllink=&afftrack=) and then the final destination URL (https://www.picmonkey.com/?SSAID=1234). So ultimately the SSAID=1234 is still present. So a user can still remove that part from the URL and use picmonkey.com.
How is it helping me in cloaking the URL? I was under the impression that the final URL would be the straight one from Thirsty Affiliates.
Thanks,
PriyankaHi richisun,
My theme creates several sizes of an image file when I upload one. So it had been pointing to another file. I deleted them from the server and it worked fine after that. However, it still scrapes 2 image files (both pointing to the same file). I am not sure why that is happening. Hope this helps.Actually I figured it out! Now it does point to the correct image in the post. But the resolution still seems to be a problem. Not sure why. Even though it is pointing to the right image.
Hi Chuck,
I increased the size of the image to 1200×600 and tried but it gives me the same results. Also, I am not able to understand why it is scraping 2 images.
<meta property=”og:image” content=”https://socialmediawithpb.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/5-tips-on-how-to-use-Pinterest-for-social-media-marketing-678×316.jpg” />
Meta Tag <meta property=”og:image” content=”https://socialmediawithpb.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/5-tips-on-how-to-use-Pinterest-for-social-media-marketing.jpg” />Why the 2 image tags? Also my blog images are 750×350, well within their minimum range.
Also, if I use a large image size (1200×600) I would still have to resize them to 750×350 so that they display well within the post (using another plugin or so). How can I achieve that? Thanks!
Priyanka
@sleihart The class=”popup” is already present is the functions in the rrssb.php file. But the links still don’t open up in a new window. Any idea what could be wrong? Thanks.
@sleihart Thank you. I will try this out and see if it works.
@sleihart Can you please share how you managed to open the links in a new pop up window?
