    Buzztone:

As I was going through the back story some of what you have outlined above crossed my mind. Not being an advanced expert, yet, I wanted to make sure that I covered every detail possible.

Fortunately, I still have the test site in place, so I am going to step backward through this test site and see if I can figure out at what point Contact Form 7 stops working.

Thank you all for your input. I truly appreciate all of your interest in helping me try to solve my problem.

Hi Todd. I guess you didn’t read the last post where I explained more of the back story behind this problem I am having with Contact Form 7. Suffice it to say, yes, I did see that post at the Weaver II Pro website, and I am long past that now. I would waste everyone’s time by explaining myself again. Read my last few posts and you will see where I am on this now. Thanks anyway,

Actually I did build a test site first and, until WordPress updated to 3.9, everything was going beautifully. Before I go any further the site in question is – fullerforcongress.com.

Now, a bit more back story – I am using Weaver II Pro on the website. I started development of the test site (jwspromotions.com/fullerforcongress2/) with Weaver II Pro V 2.1.1. Then I updated WordPress to 3.9 and everything blew up. There is a feature in the Weaver II Pro dashboard that allow you to update to the latest version by restoring the site with a new version, so I tried updating the Weaver them to V 2.1.10. However, this didn’t solve the specific problems I was having. At this point, Contact Form 7 was not an issue, it was working as expected. The test site which I have shown about at jwspromotions.com is still in this state.

I found, however, that the only way to clear up the core issues I was having with Weaver and WordPress were only really fixed by starting with a fresh install of Weaver II Pro V 2.1.10, rather than installing V 2.1.1 and updating using the internal tools inside of the Weaver dashboard. It is at this point that I started having problems with Contact Form 7.

Sorry to take up so much of your time with the back story but I thought it might help in getting to the bottom of what is wrong.

Thanks again. I truly appreciate all the support I am receiving on this issue. I have several other clients that will need the same fix as I move forward with updating their WordPress and Weaver themes.

Unfortunately, I can’t afford to show you what is happening with Contact Form 7 in this particular instance because this is a live political campaign website. Just can’t afford to have potential volunteers and/or constituents come to a site with a non-functional form. Not a good image for my client.

The best I can do is tell you that when every time I typed info into the form and submitted, I got a message at the bottom that said”Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method.”

My best guess is that one of the other plugins is conflicting with the form. Unfortunately I need all the plugins that I have uploaded for this site.

The difficulty has been resolved. I contacted the creators of Weaver II Pro Theme and found that I had to actually uninstall Weaver II Pro V2.1.1 and re-install V 2.1.10. Updating this theme through the internal tools in the dashboard do not work correctly.

I am having the same problem but am not using Shortcodes Ultimate. You can see what is happening on a new client install at sportafence.com on the home page. I am leaving the error in place until you have a chance to see the problem. I have to get it down ASAP though since this is a live site. Your immediate attention to this problem would be highly appreciated. Thank you.
