In reply to: [Custom Related Posts] Limit search when adding new linksThanks for the feedback! The plugin I used previously solved this by having two check boxes next to the search window, allowing you to search titles, body or both. Maybe you can add this as well? The ability to quickly locate the post or page you want to refer to is essential in a plugin that focuses on manual linking. Changing the number of search results does not solve this, now I just get 25 irrelevant suggestions instead of 15.

In reply to: Content Disappears when savingAfter trying to add a few images to an existing WordPress page, I ran into the same issue. The page content disappears as soon as the page is saved. This is a pretty annoying bug – thang God that previous revisions are stored so that I at least can revert back while trying to come up with a solution.

In reply to: Google XML Sitemaps – why mktime warning?XML Sitemap Generator for WordPress 3.1.4 does have a sitemap-core.php file and the proposed fix indeed seems to solve the problem. I hope this gets fixed automatically in a future upgrade.

In reply to: [Plug-in: Fold page list] Display page title instead of title tagAfter getting in touch with the makers of Fold Page List, they sent me a new version of their plug-in (version 1.9) which gets along nicely with the All-in-one SEO plug-in as well as the Page Menu Editor plug-in. For anyone looking at using WordPress pages as a simple CMS, I can recommend these 3 plug-ins as a good combo to make a site that is easy to navigate and that gets found by Google & co.

In reply to: Change Widget Title h2 Wrapper to SpanTried the change in functions.php but simply couldn’t get it to work so I edited widgets.php. That worked fine but now I have to remember the change every time I upgrade. At least I now have <h4> tags. Thanks Insidedesign!
I had the same problem upgrading from 2.3.3 to 2.6.1. The access issues disappeared when I deleted the secretkey line from wp-config.php (step 12 of the upgrade procedure). After reading a bit more on this site, I modified the sample wp-config file from 2.6.1 with the data from my old wp-config file and uploaded this new version. That solved the problem.

In reply to: Upgrade to 2.3.3 – WordPress stats for pages missingYes, I deactivated and reinstalled them all.
The problem isn’t that 2.3.3 isn’t working properly; The issue is that for pages with a ‘no title on file’ message (no such message was displayed with with 2.3.2) there is no logging button showing stats of that particular page. Since there is no logging button any more, you cannot see the ID of the page and cannot edit the page to get rid of the ‘no title on file’ message.

In reply to: Automatically add search results to post or pageThanks, I had a first look at those API’s yesterday. Pity there doesn’t seem to be a plug-in to do this.
