…the modal opens up on your site without the ads. Are you still seeing an issue on your end?

With a fix for this, you’d basically like to be able to set outline so it does not default to none, correct?

Thanks for your feedback. PrintFriendly is not supposed to show ads if you’re a subscriber. Could you please contact [email protected]? I would like to see if this is a bug and whether we can get this working for you. Thank you.

We’ve made it so that PrintFriendly subscribers can use standard HTML or Javascript code to open a new window and ads will not be displayed on our site, if the referring domain is a subscriber. Here’s an example:

We do not yet have the ability to open the unbranded PrintFriendly modal in a new window, but it is nearing the top of our backlog.

My apologies for the delay. We do not currently have a way to open a new window in the way you described. I’ve talked to our development team about it though and we’ve added this feature to our backlog. Thank you.

Yes, it’s possible to open a printout in a new window.
