So I just went through your thread on Envato and I found that the only way to disable the sound is by purchasing the plugin which I think is a bit silly LOL…you make an obnoxious feature a default feature and then the only way to disable it is to pay? Why offer a free / demo version then…you are making it functionally un-usable.

I very much appreciate all the responses but respectfully it doesn’t answer the question. Is it normal for WF to request access to FTP? Now before everyone goes all sideways on me, I have many sites installed on the SAME server and NO other sites are requesting access to FTP to delete or repair files. So what’s triggering this install of WF to ask for credentials? I’ve NEVER had to manually enter FTP credentials for a WP site to access what it needed via plugin or whatever. Where does one even do that in WF / WP?

Once WP-Edit is installed does one still need Black Studio TinyMCE Widget? Or is WP-Edit robust enough handle the load? That said perhaps my first question should have been does WP-Edit even interact with Black Studio TinyMCE Widget? Thanks again!!!

I do have a couple additional questions. 1) where is the uninstall feature you suggested to use to remove the plugin? just curious, why not just “uninstall” from the plugin menu? also, if i fully remove that and then install wp-edit will i loose the “data” that is currently controlled by TinyMCE? thanks!!

Thanks for the reply. I have NO issue dumping Ultimate TinyMCE (though it was a good little plugin for sure) my concern is what will happen to the parts of my existing site that are using it? Will WP Edit integrate seamlessly? Thanks!
