In reply to: [WP Fastest Cache] Problem deleting cache files automaticallyThanks for your replies.
It would appear that as the scheduler is working we can assume that WP_CRON is also working. Is that correct?
However the cache is still not clearing.
I have been over settings a thousand times – I can’t see where I have made a mistake.

In reply to: [WP Fastest Cache] Problem deleting cache files automaticallyOkay. Sorted the scheduler. It works differently to the video / explanation on the link. And I had to turn the relevent plugins back on.
The schedule a post feature is on. Is that the problem? With scheduler on my site is not functioning properly.
Thanks again,

In reply to: [WP Fastest Cache] Problem deleting cache files automaticallyOkay – thanks for your patience, and for sending the link.
I don’t have the schedule facility at all – I am completely up to date with WP 4.9.5 and the theme (Mantra) and all plugins are up to date.
Why would scheduler not be present when it obviously should be?
Thanks again.
And great plugin by the way. It has been working well until this glitch which doesn’t appear to have anything to do with the plugin itself actually.

In reply to: [WP Fastest Cache] Problem deleting cache files automaticallyHi. Nothing had changed when I started having this problem. However ‘scheduled posts’ is not a feature that I use, so I can’t say where this feature is. This is not a feature of WPFastest Cache? Nor Jetpack. Nor any plugin that I have.
Thanks and regards,

In reply to: [WP Fastest Cache] Problem deleting cache files automaticallyI am having the same problem on both my sites. I have to clear the cache manually. For some reason my site distorts if I don’t clear the cache manually – the site is fine but the header is squashed – the menu and pages come up over the header. WordPress support and my host support does not have an answer. I thought about upgrading to premium but don’t know if that will solve the problem.

In reply to: WordPress 4.8 editor “Failed to load content css”Same same:
Failed to load content css: https://www.solarelectrique.com.au/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php/?action=dynamic_styles
From reading this thread I’m assuming this is abug in 4.8 as it has also been happening for me since the update.

In reply to: [WP Super Cache] Error message but unable to clearOkay, I can’t update plugins or access my media library anymore. Still no closer to resolution on this.
Update Failed: W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove /hermes/bosnaweb24a/b587/ipg.globalcohcom/cultureofhealthcomau/wp-content/db.php.{“success”:true,”data”:{“update”:”plugin”,”slug”:”akismet”,”oldVersion”:”Version 3.1.11″,”newVersion”:”Version 3.2″,”plugin”:”akismet\/akismet.php”,”pluginName”:”Akismet”}}
Surely I can’t be the only one this has happened to. Any answers??

In reply to: [WP Super Cache] Error message but unable to clearThanks for the links, but the issue now seems to be that files are missing, rather than requiring deleting:
I have tried reinstalling wp-super-cache however it won’t work because it is saying that /hermes/bosnaweb24a/b587/ipg etc etc is missing.
So I am just going around in circles and no amount of google searches is getting me to resolution. The wp cache plugin site has provided me with hours of reading and no solution.
Having spent endless hours on this it looks like I will have to delete my site and start again – definitely never using wp cache again.

In reply to: [WP Super Cache] Error message but unable to clearSorry – I have to add that I uninstalled wp-super-cache as per instructions, so in theory it is no longer on my site, however I still have the same error message glued to the top of my page.
I’m not sure how much this relates to the fact that wp-super-cache is not yet up to date with WP4.6 (which I have updated to).
