In reply to: [Schema & Structured Data for WP & AMP] Meta Description errorHey Sanjeev,
You’re right man. It was the articlebody. Thanks for pointing it out buddy. Gonna modify it. Thanks again for your help…Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Schema & Structured Data for WP & AMP] Meta Description errorI took one step forward to see if it’s just my site that’s having this unnaturally long Meta Description generated by the Schema plugin or everyone has it. I just analyzed 3-4 sites from recently created support threads and found almost each of them has the same problem, the whole article content is used as Meta Description ??

In reply to: [Schema & Structured Data for WP & AMP] Meta Description errorHey Sanjeev,
I tried unticking “Yoast SEO” and “AMPforWP” one by one and cleared the cache and even tried updating the article so that the Structured data is re-created but it doesn’t solve anything. It’s still the whole article as the “Meta Description”.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Schema & Structured Data for WP & AMP] Meta Description errorHey Sanjeev,
I have configured it accordingly but still, the “description” output is my whole article which is around 500-600 words. I am sure it’s not a legitimate length for a meta description field. It should pick the first 160-180 characeters.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Schema & Structured Data for WP & AMP] Meta Description errorOMG! That’s insane. I just checked it on my site too. I have been keeping the “Meta Description” field empty thinking the Structured Data plugin will automatically fetch the first few lines (excerpt) from the article as Meta Description.
But I just checked those articles from my site and found the meta description field has the whole article there ??
That’s not acceptable at all, guys. Please, let us know the solution.
ThanksForum: Plugins
In reply to: [AMP for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages] Icomoon for swift+1 for Proper Woff2/WOFF formats for Icomoon and only include the icons used by the design. CSS icons aren’t a proper replacement as of now because they look very dull and the header menu & search icon barely work when we switch to CSS Icons. Fontawesome is even heavier.
A very limited number of people should be using the AMP Page Builder so it’s not a good practice to include such a huge icons file for a normal design that the majority of the sites use.
Any help? I see newer topics are being replied but this 2 days old topic seems to be aborted by the support team.
I am having the same issue with the pages where I have used Yoast’s FAQ Schema Block. The AMP Plugin isn’t picking FAQ Schema from the Yoast which results in the mismatched Structured data between AMP Version and the regular version.
Initially, I thought it was an issue from Yoast’s Plugin but they clarified it and told to contact the AMP Plugin support. I already found your topic before creating mine.
Following for the further updates…

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Critical Schema Error using FAQ BlockHey Michael,
It seems the issue with AMP pages only. The structured data on AMP Pages doesn’t have FAQ Schema from Yoast which results in mismatched Schema between regular and AMP pages and Google showing the structured data error.I will continue this discussion with “AMP FOR WP” Support…
Thanks a lot for the help…Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Critical Schema Error using FAQ BlockWhat’s the purpose of having a Plugin Support System if now one is going to provide the support for a critical SEO issue even after 3 Days of creating the thread?
Thanks for your reply, Artem. Just like it doesn’t make sense to have the Last-modified header for the homepage, similarly, it doesn’t make sense to have the same header for Archive Pages too.
So, I really feel there should be an option to enable it just for the article or provide some inbuilt option to disable it on Tags, Categories because there are millions of WP users like me who have Categories/Tags Base Removed on their WP sites and still, want to utilize the 304 functionality for the article pages.
Still, just my two cents ??
As of now, I will be using this particular code to implement If-modified-since for single pages, posts only…
Thanks for this great plugin.
Keep improving…Here is an article’s screenshot where you can see the Sticky Mobile Sharebar isn’t shown but the Floating Sharebar’s Icon is being displayed instead.

In reply to: [Redis Object Cache] Enabled Unix Socket but still showing TCP ProtocolHey Till,
I used the following steps to install/configure PHP 7.3 FPM and still can’t get PHP Redis Extension to be shown inside the plugin diagnostics with PHP 7.3:# php7.3-fpm apt update && apt install php7.3-fpm php7.3-xml php7.3-bz2 php7.3-zip php7.3-mysql php7.3-intl php7.3-gd php7.3-curl php7.3-soap php7.3-mbstring php7.3-bcmath -y # Adding redis.ini echo "extension=redis.so" > /etc/php/7.3/mods-available/redis.ini ln -sf /etc/php/mods-available/redis.ini /etc/php/7.3/fpm/conf.d/20-redis.ini ln -sf /etc/php/mods-available/redis.ini /etc/php/7.3/cli/conf.d/20-redis.ini service php7.3-fpm restart
When I ran
apt-get install php-redis
the output is following:
php-redis is already the newest version (4.2.0-1+ubuntu18.04.1+deb.sury.org+1)
