You could also change the expired predict before date to some time in the future and your matches become editable again.

The downside is you’d need to login separately for each user you need to change.

But having a default score would be unfair on players at the top, surely? (see my previous post for why)

That would mean that somebody who didn’t play would get full points if the match finished 0-0.

Yet somebody who did play but predicted a score draw would get less points!

Well I have an exact same site running on the same host – that one allows and stores written answers to the exact same question!

Do you mean the correct top four based on predictions made?

If not couldn’t you use the bonus question feature?

Or have I misunderstood what you’re asking? (Probably knowing me!)

I don’t know how to see what is sent to the server though, but…

One person answered last week.

She entered Germany – this displayed correctly.

On Monday I entered mine (Brazil) – the number 0 displayed when saved; the previous entry had also reverted to 0 – as did anyone else’s that had entered in the meantime.

Absolutely nothing was changed on the site – nothing added or removed.

This is obviously a headscratcher; the option in Admin to even alter answers to questions is not there or I could change it there.

I had a similar plugin a while back that allowed you to display on a html page internally (or export to an excel file) anything that had been submitted. If anything went wrong you had that backup; I would be afraid of losing something by trying different things with yours so this might be something to consider if it’s not difficult to code. And as the answers to questions are displayed in the Admin backend I’m guessing not.

Also it is too close to the start of the World Cup to start messing around!

Thanks though for the answer – I have implemented a workaround (enter a number corresponding to a team, which means a long list in the question section, but it’ll have to do!)

Okay, good to here. Elsewhile it’s a good plugin.

In the description it says: Every player can view scores and charts of the other pool contenders.

Yet you’re saying here they can’t. I would like to display user’s predictions before the deadline has passed; please tell me this is possible!
