In reply to: Alex’s Dot CSS fileI suggest you do not consider it as a class. Use something like:
blockquote {
border-left: 5px solid #ccc;
margin-left: 1.5em;
padding-left: 5px;
}
not an id, not a class, I forgot this type (universal?)
then use the usual tag for blockquote.Forum: Themes and Templates

In reply to: layout: matching to main siteYou can fix css and you can also work with your index.php Requires just a *little* patience to familiarize the structure. If you want to do something ask them specifically like: How do I edit the header part? or How do I change the link “more” to “full story”?

In reply to: moving directoriesyou should try to rename the static files published by MT. If you are using the .php extension for your index, you should replace that. WP has index.php
Try looking at files that might be overwritten then rename them.
As for folders they are not a problem as long as you don’t have the same name as the folders in your WP installation.
Overwriting the static files of MT is not a problem because as long as you still have your MT installation you can access your templates and republish them. But watch out if you *accidentally* overwrite your WP index or any file related to WP because you don’t have a copy of that.Forum: Fixing WordPress
