ok
thanks for all your time, its been helpful.I think I’m giving up for the evening.. will address this again tomorrow (I’m west coast USA)
i did edit template 2, so its not that.
hmm, on the home page.. perhaps that’s part of the problem too.. though its not showing on any of the ‘video games’ page or child pages either. (unless I manually edit the html) its just not outputting the<a>
tag we edited in sb child list settings- This reply was modified 4 years, 6 months ago by PPNSteve.
nothing again..
I was able to get it to work editing the html..
ok just a simple question.. how do i get that to work in the menu?The
<a>
tag is entered in the sb child list settings as shown in the above screencap..
[sb_child_list template=”2″]even adding the
<a>
tag in the inspector as you did doesn’t work here..- This reply was modified 4 years, 6 months ago by PPNSteve.
I saved multiple times, no site cache enabled at this time, external cache cleared.. I added a few pages to make sure the menu item actually works, it does.. the plugin isn’t outputting anything here.
not really sure what is going on..
in fact that is the list i’m trying to render in the sub-menu
the short code is list of of pages generated by either Nested Pages or SB Child List [sb_child_list] for example
generally outputs an ul / li list of urlsanother example of that shortcode in use is the page listing at https://www.yugioh-world.com/the-video-games/
if it matters, i’m trying it on the secondary menu in left sidebar..

In reply to: add a menu to a menuhey @conleywilliam32 thanks for the reply!
These seem to focused on adding new menus and/or locations as well as responsive or mega-menus.. none address what I need to do..
2 existing menus
want to add menu (b) to menu (a) as sub-menu item to a specific menu item (a page)so it would need to be able to select an existing (or create a new, as required) menu.

In reply to: [Appointment] Latest theme update broke home page@priyanshumittal We did update both (theme, plugin) to latest and tried again.. we got the home page data back but the logo isn’t showing up at all.
Also we cannot save when using the theme customizer, we get an error saying it failed and to try again a few minutes.
did any of the recent updates affect the child themes ( we’re using appointment green child v1.1.2)

In reply to: [Appointment] Latest theme update broke home page@imrajkhan I will try that and see what happens. Thank you.
@bhsmw it is definitely a coding error in the header.php file in appointment as noted above. The same code is also in the child’s header.php code. It seems to not be able to define the variable its suppose to.
