In reply to: [Jetpack Social] When does the free shares reset?OK, thanks for the reply. I don’t like that explanation / system and you should at least publish it so free users know how it works. That said, Its VERY annoying not knowing / or having to guess (and even hope) there are shares left. There has to be a better way ..
Can you, in a future update, provide a running counter of and dates when the shares are used and reset? (perhaps in the admin / settinggs section)

In reply to: [Jetpack Social] When does the free shares reset?UPDATE June 29: And now it shows 0 shares with only 18 or 19 post shares made.
Again, I’m only posting to face book so this is very easy to track and see.. (my manual posts have the title in the text part of the post as well as the site’s link.. no title = Jetpack social’s share) Math: 30 – 18 = 12
As you can guess, I’m not happy here and the responses and support has been completely unacceptable.

In reply to: [Jetpack Social] When does the free shares reset?UPDATE June 27: So a couple of days ago, 18 shares left magically appeared.. I’ve made 12 posts now, shows 6 shares remaining. Remember, I’m only sharing to Facebook, 1 share per post.
my math: 30 – 12 = 18 (not 6)

In reply to: [Jetpack Social] When does the free shares reset?Need to reopen this for a minute..
It seems my free allotment of shares reset this morning (June 23) and I’ve since made 1 post..
however now its saying I have 4 shares left. I have 1 (facebook) social share configured so it _should_ be 29 shares left, not 4.
WTF is going on here? some scam to get people to pay? or???
Also, your plan pricing for this, without including Twitter, is insanely overpriced. It really need to be $10 – 30 per year with its current abilities.

Ok that help a little bit, but the original offering technically should still be honored. Thanks for your reply and the resolution.
Noticingg no replies here. Well apparently its not important enough to other users or staffers.
Come on. I purchased an ANNUAL subscription for 2 of my sites and Jetpack, WP, and Automatic don’t seem to honor the purchase or care.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Social share limitsThe fact that the Basic Plan is $120.00 usd /yr makes it unaffordable for many (most?) users. It should be priced around $20.00 /yr range, especially since us long time user have expected this to be free, included with the plugin (IT is one of the major reasons for using Jetpack)
ok
thanks for all your time, its been helpful.I think I’m giving up for the evening.. will address this again tomorrow (I’m west coast USA)
i did edit template 2, so its not that.
hmm, on the home page.. perhaps that’s part of the problem too.. though its not showing on any of the ‘video games’ page or child pages either. (unless I manually edit the html) its just not outputting the<a>
tag we edited in sb child list settings- This reply was modified 4 years, 2 months ago by PPNSteve.
nothing again..
I was able to get it to work editing the html..
ok just a simple question.. how do i get that to work in the menu?The
<a>
tag is entered in the sb child list settings as shown in the above screencap..
[sb_child_list template=”2″]even adding the
<a>
tag in the inspector as you did doesn’t work here..- This reply was modified 4 years, 2 months ago by PPNSteve.
I saved multiple times, no site cache enabled at this time, external cache cleared.. I added a few pages to make sure the menu item actually works, it does.. the plugin isn’t outputting anything here.
not really sure what is going on..
