Probably because the plugin required a Facebook App Id and Secret by default. I changed that on the new version and made it more human friendly. I hope you cant test it again if it still does not work paste the url you are trying to embed here, so I can debug please.

If you unselect the “Show events on local time” it will use the timezone string of the event to get the time, it should be the same time as seen of facebook.

Please update to the new version, this issue has been solved, also events with cover are no longer part of the premium extension they are now included on the core.

The language of the like buttons is retrieved from the language your wp-admin is set to. I will add an option to change this on the next version.

Hi, first of all sorry for the late replay.

I am working on the new version and this problem with others will be fixed very soon, a lot of things have changed on the new version and everything needs to be very well tested.

For your last post you can use the facebook social plugin code to embed any post or event, but if you have the plugin installed you can omit the first part, it is already included on the plugin in the fb.js file so you can just paste the second part on your post and it should work.

@irestorestuff please create a new thread with the url you are trying to embed and a link to the page you are embedding the content.

Go to any of the pictures and click the image visualizer then use that url to embed.

Was this working before and then it stoped working? or did you create a new facebook app.

I ask because if it is a new app it is probable that the facebook api only lets it use the new 2.4 version.

Also you shouldn’t change the code of the plugin you can alter the query to the api via filters. You could do something like this on your functions.php file.

You can use this tool to see what data your app is getting from facebook.
