Sorry for that. I thought my question was more a general question, like is it possible at all to customize/change the customer.php file.

Hosting: with Godaddy Linux shared hosting
WordPress 4.5.2
Plugins
Block Bad Queries
iThemes Security

Theme: Athena, I also tried it with an other Theme and had the same issue.

The CSS and is ok and also if I add anything to the header.php or footer.php. That all works fine.
But not if I make changes to the customizer.php file.

Too late now, the site is live… took more than 1 month to even reply…. Thanks anyway…

Ok got it finally. Did as you suggested and up-loaded the plugin again.
And what I forgot to do, is change the path for the up-load files in the settings ??

Tried it again and checked if that file existed. It did exist and now I am getting this error:

Oops sorry! I deleted everything and re-installed. But again everytime I try to use ‘change the wp-content directory’ I am having all these issues.
And it is a clean/new install.
So after deleting/re-installing everything for about 4 times I decided not to use this part of the plugin.

I re-installed everything. Now as I wanted to change the wp-content directory I am getting this warning/error:

I disabled it but still do not see an error.
Something very strange is going on. If I upload images, I just see them as a blank image and error ‘can not be found’…. It is not up-loading them in the ‘redirected’ folder….

Nothing happens. No error and no re-direct….
Very strange, use your plugin on many sites and never had an issue….
