Same here. Just downloaded it, added shortcode to home page, selected image and nothing! Looks nice in your screen shots. I would love to have this working.

In reply to: [WP-Members Membership Plugin] Plugin FailSolved the problem and I love your plugin!
I had blocked the post and added the more tag, which didn’t work.
Now I showed the excerpt option in Screen Options and then manually copied the first 300 words into the excerpt field box. This worked!
This plugin is works exceptionally well for me because new visitors can become members without leaving the post page. Very useful.

In reply to: [WP-Members Membership Plugin] Plugin FailHi Chad,
Thanks very much for your time and attention to this. I often am odd, and apparently so are my problems. I gather from what you are saying that this could be theme specific. If so, perhaps I could consider twentyfourteen or something. I do run a lot of plugins, tho I turned them all off to test, without any change.
I guess I will play with it some more.
One thing I noticed is that the content seems to be truncated in the blog, but totally absent in the post page. I would hope to show 200 words on the individual post page as well as the blog list page. Is that possible? Does that require pro version?

In reply to: [WP-Members Membership Plugin] Plugin FailThanks for asking. It’s a regular post. Skeleton child theme.
I installed the plugin, followed the quick start quide, logged out, and nothing happened.

In reply to: How do I disable Mobile Theme in Jetpack 1.8 = broken with ThesisI just posted the same thing. Then navigated to Jetpack instead of opening an old tab for that page. THEN the Deactivate Button showed up.
(It appears that my original post was deleted.)
This is totally false.
“Find the “Mobile Theme” module and click on the “Learn More” button. After you click that button, the “Deactivate” button will appear to the right of the “Learn More” button. Click “Deactivate” and you’ll be set.”
When I click on “Learn More” I am taken to this page:
https://jetpack.me/support/mobile-theme/“Deactivate” is not found on that page, or any other page, including the Jetpack Dashboard.

In reply to: Hiding from googleIf you have a WordPress site, I might suggest memberwing-x plugin. It is free and easy to install and very secure. It will cost you after 10 members. If there are no links to your downloads folder, then there are no ways it can be tracked by robots, etc. The way to protect it is with an .htaccess file inside the folder.

Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: Custom header image for post categories in Twenty Eleven?I have make a child theme of twentyeleven with style.css, functions.php, index.php, and a header.php. I have adapted the above code to change the image to match the page, which I think could also benefit others. It is not quite working. The code I have made is here:
elseif( is_page('home') ) : ?> <img src="<?php echo get_stylesheet_directory_uri(); ?>/images/headers/sunbeams1.png" width="<?php echo HEADER_IMAGE_WIDTH; ?>" height="<?php echo HEADER_IMAGE_HEIGHT; ?>" alt="Sunbeams1" /> <?php elseif( is_page('meet-charlie') ) : ?> <img src="<?php echo get_stylesheet_directory_uri(); ?>/images/headers/sunbeams2.png" width="<?php echo HEADER_IMAGE_WIDTH; ?>" height="<?php echo HEADER_IMAGE_HEIGHT; ?>" alt="sunbeams2" /> else : ?>
Can anyone see what else is needed?

Thank you very much for this information. Your site is very interesting and your plugin looks promising. I will have to explore this further at a later date. Again, thanks.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Paid Member SubscriptionsHey folks,
I would also love to have these features in a plugin for my site. Hopefully, if there is enough demand, somebody will hear us.
